Very helpful for looking at things up close! We used it in class to see patterns in rocks, salt, sugar etc. My class was excited to see what things actually looked like when magnified. I would recommend this for anyone wanting to observe things closer.

Okay we got this for the beach and to view our dogs cancerous growth (well I did that not the kids) and it really is amazing what this thing picks up. Really worth the money! Kids use it every time we go to the beach and on walks

This things amazing!! Not just for kids great for adult!!! Perfect for looking at trichromes if you know what I'm saying! Also fun to use on just about anything! Made very well too! Amazing zoom!!!

Bought 3 of these and have given 2 as birthday gifts for my great nieces and they loved them. They can explore the world around them since they’re so curious about everything as well as use them for school projects.

I like the item itself, but I did not receive anything with it. Not the glass slides, no charging cord, no instruction manual.... nothing. Very disappointed. It was supposed to be a gift for my grandson, but I cannot give him the "kit" that didn't come with the standard items. So very disappointed. Will probably return the item if I can't get everything that was supposed to be in the "kit".Update:Received the replacement kit today. It is perfect!!! The seller/company really did a great job taking care of the problem. Thank you very much

8 yr old granddaughter loves this! So easy to use and so handy to carry around to find cool things .

I'd like to start off by saying you can't get a comparable proper microscope for even double the price, that being said... My biggest gripe is as you are zooming in and out the lense wobbles, making it difficult to focus on an object without repositioning. Second negative is the display and picture quality are quite low. Making it difficult to see details zoomed in. Some great things are the focusing range is immaculate, you can focus on objects several feet away. Also portability is awesome, the adjustable light is quite nice, and the included SD card is great. Overall, is it worth the price? Definitely, is it a great quality microscope, no.

Everyone in the house loves this! I thought I'd be sacrificing quality for this price, but the image quality is excellent, and adjusting the focus is easy for even my 3-year-old. It's holding it's charge, and still works after my 6-year-old dropped it off the counter onto the tile floor. Highly recommend.
