I was a bit shocked at the size of this when I took it out. I’m a petite woman and this thing felt just huge and, at first, I felt a bit silly, but I quickly got over that.It’s quite soft & comfortable while being rather firm and stable. The angle for typing on the couch is, of course, far better for me neck than on my kneee - with plenty of room to also have my phone or a tablet of paper next to my iPad.The little pouches on the font for pens is a godsend - and there are a couopole of other little pouches for anything you may need to put somewhere so that it doesn’t fall to the ground or get chewed by the puppy.I found place to slide it down beside the couch when not in use, so it’s not taking up couch space when not in use.So, to sum up, it’s big and that may surprise you, as it did me, but once I used it, I found it to be quite comfortable, spacious, and practical.

My husband is disabled and I had been looking for something soft for him to use as a sort of desk while he rests in bed. This soft pillow/desk is perfect for his needs. It's soft enough not to hurt his legs and yet firm enough to hold anything including books. The foam conforms to his body which makes it comfortable for him and he's able to rest his arms on it. This is a great item and I would recommend it.
