Lovely presentation
Well written and lovely presentaion. i'm new to ceramics and found the book inspiring and somewhat informative. It is laid out very nicely with beautiful full color pictures. It is written well and easy to understand. Some of the info wasn't really new to me, but it does offer some techniques i am not familiar with. Overall it's a nice book, well put together and full of enjoyable images.

An insightful book for pottery glazes and techniques
This book has a lot of great information on glazes and different glazing techniques. There are lots of really nice pictures showing what the different glazes and processes can produce. There's also a section talking about how to troubleshoot what may have gone wrong with your glaze and what to do to try to fix it. It's very instructional for how to set up your own glaze lab and how to do a scientific method for seeing how different glazes are going to interact with different types of pottery. It's an easy book to read, and it has lots of great recipes for glazes and instructions on how to apply those glazes to your pottery. If you are new to pottery, or just looking for more ways of making your pottery your sculptures stand out with glazes then this is a great resource to have on your shelf.
