My approximate measurements are: The large cup is 15mm = 0.6 inches = 15/16 of an inch. The smaller split cup measures 13mm = roughly one half inch.

Can this be used for daily lenses

I was using daily contacts, and having difficulty inserting them. I tried Optiwand, and although I was able to make contact with the surface of my eye, I couldn't get it to release the lens. I have poor physical motor skills coupled with little patience, and I gave up after 2 days. It may well work for others, but not for me.

Does it come with a container to keep it clean and decontaminated?

Yes, but it is always best to clean it periodically. By virtue of being linger than others I have tried, this is the easiest to use.

Can these be used for soft daily lenses

Yes it can be used with daily lenses. It functions different than finger and requires some practice and patience

Damaged my eye!

Be careful when using it to take out soft lenses! It damaged my eye and took about 8 days for the pain to fade away.I bought it to take out my soft lenses (I already have the Meruru to put them in) but 'pinching them out' damaged my eye. The Optiwand has some very sharp uneven edges so one of these edges must have cut my eye.It also looks very 3D printed and feels very flimsy unlike the product picture...Definitely not using it again.

Useless total waste of money

Sounded like the answer to my prayers so I paid the extortionate amount for the tiny piece of flimsy plastic, waited 10 days for it to arrive only to realise I’d totally wasted my money as it doesn’t grip the lens it just slides over the top… very frustrating and believe me I’ve tried for many hours. Dont waste your money use your fingers it’s so much cheaper !!!
