I purchased this for my son’s birthday. He was thrilled when he opened it as he loves tugboats. It looks like an awesome product and was super neat until it stopped working after first use. Really sad that it broke with no misuse.Editing to add that the seller replaced the damaged boat immediately and they were very responsive and quick to make the issue right with absolutely no inconvenience to us.

This boat is smaller than I expected but it runs well. The motors are powerful and the steering is easy and smooth. My 9 YO grandson's had fun with this boat and another amphibious boat in a small lake. This tugboat was a lot faster than the other boat but they still had fun racing and trying to ram each other. The battery lasts at least 15 minutes on a charge and only comes with one battery.

The media could not be loaded. I ordered this model tugboat just because I thought it would be fun to play with; and I was right! This is a nice tugboat. The first thing a potential buyer needs to know is that it is a kit. There is a just a bit of construction needed to assemble the boat. After the boat is assembled, it will no longer fit back in the protective plastic box insert, although it will just barely fit back in the box without the plastic insert. Once assembled, this is a really fun boat to play with. I took it to the kiddie pool to try it out. It moves surprisingly fast and handles well for a boat of this type. I expected a model tugboat to be slow, but it's quite fast. My wife and I put a little plush animal (a tub goat!) on it and the boat carried it with no problem and remained stable in the water. I really have fun with this boat and have no complaints. Five stars.

My 10 year old was so stoked with us anticipating getting this thing and it did not disappoint! As soon as it arrived he got to work assembling the extra parts that come with it. The battery takes a while to charge, but I tend to just charge it on my desk while working, so not a big deal for us. We’ve been using it in a small pool and had lots of family fun. It can handle some mild waves and has enough power to tow small items. Speed is good, steering is nice, and it even has reverse. Excellent performance at the $60 price point. No doubt this thing is maneuverable and FUN to captain. We haven’t had any issues with water getting in, but it does have a drain plug on the bottom if you accidentally don’t get the battery compartment sealed down correctly and take on water (ask me how we know, user error). Water coming over the bow just drains off. If it capsizes it doesn’t sink or take on water. The blue lights add some cool and fun. Battery lasts long enough to get some fun times in before needing to charge. I meant to time battery life the last few times we played with it, but dang if we don’t jump into the fun and I always forget. I’d estimate it must be 20 minutes or more even if you’ve got the hammer down.Overall we are extremely pleased, nothing has broken, we’ve had plenty of smiles and laughs with this thing in the pool, and we’d get it again in a heartbeat! 👍👍

It's a small little tugboat and it runs fantastic. Smaller than I was expecting, but grandson loves it and I found the only down side is the battery doesn't last that long. It is fun and a nice change from the speedboat. Definitely recommend.

This looks pretty realistic. Fun to use, performs well. Nice quality,good color. Stays pretty stable in the water. Good battery Life. Pretty fun.
