The bests videocentric camera that I have ever used
The media could not be loaded. So I've had the Panasonic GH5 for about four years, I’ve been itching to upgrade to something else mainly because of the auto focus and a couple other minor stuff. When I saw the GH7 came out. I was excited to give it a try. I read a lot of reviews watched a lot of YouTube videos and within maybe a week after the release date I decided to go ahead and order it for myself and I'm not disappointed I've used it extensively. I've put it into a camera rig with a bunch of other stuff that I bought here on Amazon and it is the perfect camera for what I need. I generally shoot long events maybe 3 to 7 hours maybe longer sometimes, so I wanted a camera that does not overheat has great recording options and something with better auto focus than the GH5 and this is definitely it. I got two VMOUNT batteries and a 5.5 inch monitor and it's been working perfectly for me and what I need it for. I don't need anything more so hopefully I'll have this for many years to come.

Walking and recording is like using a gimbal, fantastic camera
I am using micro 4/3 since the Lumix GH2 and upgraded every time. The GH7 is most likely the overall best camera in this price segment in 2024! I tried Sony at one point but was very disappointed abut the skin colors, big no-no, too much unnecessary processing and finetuning in post. The autofocus finally feels like excellent, faster compared to other cameras I use, and the stabilizer is world class, walking and recording is like having a gimbal without using one. I am very happy with this purchase!

The autofocus is way better than the GH6
It made my 25mm lens usable again. Will update rating if something fails, so far it has been an amazing camera

A n Excellent Professional Video Camera
Here is what you need to know. Stabilization with lens with internal stabilization in combination with internal stabilization is among the best. Auto focus likewise is fantastic but it does require proper settings. Range of recording modes is simply outstanding. It even has a built in fan. Why. At higher frame rates and resolutions heat becomes la an issue. This is not a point and shoot camera. You must study the user manual. It takes weeks to grasp all of the menu settings properly. The lens choices either OUS stabilization isn’t large. The internal battery is very inadequate. An external battery and external SSD are needed for any practical prolonged use all. A larger external monitor is needed for any serious documentary or wedding work. Expect to double the camera cost in building out a full camera. Look for good point and shoot camera if you can’t support a full implementation of this fine camera
