Good Quality
Works wonders, keeps my chinchilla nice and cool. I mostly just got it for my pets cuz we moved and our new place doesn’t have any ac, so far it’s worked great. I do have to clean the filter frequently, or it will give off an odd smell, but I think that’s just cuz of my pets.

Good product
Got this to cool a grow room down .product works good but not good enough to keep the temperature below 75 constantly if temperatures are above 100 degrees out side

Update to original review:Lowered from 4 to 2 stars. I’ve been using this for a month now. It has gotten louder and the internal thermostat does not work correctly. It’s often 4-6 degrees off. Picture posted shows this. AC is set to 68 and it was not cooling. I have to lower the setting even more to get it to kick on. Remote sent with it doesn’t work so I have to get up in the middle of the night and go to it to get it to kick on. Once on it cools OK but not great.Old review:Works good but definitely not that quiet

The 8000 btu is actually 5000
The a/c cools my room very efficiently but the 8000 btu is really 5000 btu. The sticker on the side of the machine gives you the product’s facts. So false advertisement? Yes. But it does cool me down so I’ll let it slide.

Works great but not easy to install
I bought this air conditioner for my bedroom because even though I have central air, my bedroom stays hot. The problem with the installation was the exhaust hose. It is not easy to fit it into the pieces that hold it in place so I ended up taping it in place because it wouldn’t stay, that is my only complaint. The unit is very heavy and difficult to move so figure out where you want it and leave it there overall I’m happy so far and it seems to be working great.
