Impressive
After photographing Comet Neowise on two occasions, it struck me that a head torch with a red light option might have much to commend it.I chose this one because it seemed to offer very good value and has been reviewed so positively. It is my first rechargeable head torch and I have not yet used it long enough to be able to comment meaningfully on battery running time. The single Cree/Cree-type white LED projects a good strong beam with a nice central spot and a choice of two brightness levels. A third, dimmer one, might be a useful extra at times. The sensor option works well and could be useful when working under the car with filthy hands or tramping the North Pennines wearing thick gloves on a variably moonlit winter night. The two red LEDs are, of course, much dimmer and provide a more diffuse light as is desirable when red light is preferred. A nice touch is that red mode is selected by a long press of the button. This means you do not have to cycle through the three white modes every time you want red light. The general build quality seems fine and inspires confidence. I have not yet used it long enough in heavy rain to know how waterproof it really is.The headband is very comfortable. It is thicker and more elastic/stretchy than on other head torches I have bought in the past. This does suggest that, though the price is modest, quality has not been pared to the bone. When I checked this item on Amazon yesterday, when thinking of this review, I noticed the price had been lowered. I therefore ordered another one. Indulgence? Some will think that. From my perspective as a serious solo winter fell walker, it was a no-brainer.

Had these for a few years now - They are great!
These are fantastic head torches - Bought two of them and have used them for hiking, camping, cycling and DIY projects. Battery lasts for some time and they are bright. They have a motion switch which seems to work but I don't use.

A high performing Head Torch at a good price
I wanted a head torch that wasn't going to be expensive but does a good job. This fits the bill. The beam is intense and covers a good area and can be dimmed if too bright. The head tilts to 60%. The best feature is the ability to turn on and off by passing your hand in front of the beam. Really useful. Good for a whole range of purposes. The charge lasts a long time and charging did not take as long as the instructions suggest (2+hours).The red light is useful for giving you some visibility as your eyes adjust to low light conditions. The headband has plenty of adjustment and the whole lamp is light and comfortable to wear.Very pleased with this little light and it comes highly recommended.

Had this for nearly four years and still as good as the day I bought it
This is a great little headtorch. Had mine four years and never missed a beat. It's been camping, on boats, up hills, it's been wet, it's lived in the extreme temperatures of my car and it's never failed. The motion sensing is also pretty handy. I guess I just wish that once you had it on, after a delay of say 10 seconds the next button press became off rather than having to cycle through all the modes. But when I paid £9.99 for it and so far it's cost me £2.50 a year, who's complaining?

🤣🤣Definitely dont look in to the light 🤣🤣 another update**
* make sure buttons are not blue before having a closer look at the front*- like super important ** Ok so I got this wee head torch last night...10 mins after I'm back with the dog 🙄..would have been handy at the time.Anyways, fae out the big box I find a neat little box and in that box guess what I find.. go on, guess. Pfft naff guess, the box is far too small to fit an elephant in!2 baggies.. oooh. One had the torch in and the other is the charge cable and an instruction sheet... ahhh👏👏. Anyhoo...had a fiddle about with it and drove the dog daft. That was great fun til wallpaper came off😑.Oh well, great excuse to re do the room, right?!It looks well built, I've not dropped it or stood on it yet..The strap is comfy, my ferrets will love chewing it😬.Its certainly bright...I can promise you that as well as the sensor working from about 6-7 inches. I'll fess up here...I didnt look at the "how too" bit and never knew the blue light on the button meant that the sensor was activated and after wafting my hand in front of my face turning it on and off I didnt turn the sensor off and took it off to look at the lens and got blinded... In my defense I didnt have my specs on ok, that's why it was close to my face!. I've no idea how long the battery lasts, I only got it last night . .gives a break eh. I'm feeling pretty confident about it though...Will do an update when it's used as intended. So far so good😁Stay safe ya'll..Update woohoo!!So..this lil head torch is a wee cracker.I havent managed to run it out in one use yet but I've used it on and off over the period of about 6-7 hours and still had some lumijuice left.Would I recommend this....oh yes...a big fat Winston Churchill nodding dog YES.Really easy to charge, with easy to see charging and charged light indicators, red and green respectively. It does come with some charge so can be used straight from the box.Update#3So I went and lost the little sucker didn't I...But I came back and bought another...because its bloody good

Head torch
This is a superb product for the price, has a good selection of light modes and a light sensor also which can switch the light on automatically if there is a power cut or lights go out out in your property or workspace.

Perfekt!
