Wow
Bought a cheap mic from Walmart for my keyboard and it was sooo quiet I returned it. Figured I needed a better quality mic so I bought a Tonor mic. It was still too quiet. I was a bit upset. Then I did some research and found this dohickey. I clicked it in and automatically was eating the mic like I had to before and nearly blasted myself out of the water! I can now sit normally and sing without eating the mic.It has some weight to it and I had to tighten my mic stand but not so bad that I am constantly adjusting and tightening. Makes the mic look super long too. lol but I love this thing. This’ll really help with the quality of my church recordings. Thanks guys!

Buy it,it works perfectly
I bought this for my Maono PD200X wish I got connected to a Maonocaster Lite. The mic works without it but the gain wasn't enough in my opinion.Once I put it i quickly could tell it was gonna work. The gain is very nice now and the mic sounds Amazing!!

Straight-up doesn't work.
My mic works when the cord is plugged into my mixer, which is plugged straight into my PC. Input light glows and I'm audible. If I plug it between the mic and cord, there's no input and the mixer doesn't glow. I tried plugging it between the cord and mixer, it won't fit in the mixer.

Great little mic booster for my dynamic mics
I have a lot of different performers that play at my event space. Not all of them are equal singers, especially volume wise. This little booster is a great way to get the most out of the mic, especially if you are learning a big and small voice. The unit is solid and has a high-quality weight to it, with quality external materials. It is quiet, and is subtle in its enhancements, not distorting the vocal. This was a great purchase at a reasonable price.

An essential item for my gig bag
The media could not be loaded. This is an in line pre-amp designed to increase the gain for a dynamic microphone. There are several important notes about using this technology:• This is designed for a passive dynamic microphone. It will not work with any condenser or wireless mic.• The pre-amp requires phantom power of 48VDC, to be supplied by the mixer.• Be certain to mute the input channel and set the Speaker Main Out channels to zero on your mixer PRIOR to activating phantom power and plugging the pre-amp into the mic cable. The device is small and lightweight. It is constructed entirely of metal. It has three pin input and output. A small User's Manual is included with the pre-amp.I tested the pre-amp using an industry standard S----- dynamic mic. There was a noticeable difference in level with the pre-amp placed in line with the mic. However, I did not hear any additional unwanted noise when the pre-amp was on.This device may be useful for those times when I can't get the mic level high enough. I am pleased with its performance and will definitely be adding this to my audio gig bag. I consider it a very good value for its cost.
