Excellent quality and function
The build quality is amazing, it’s solid and realize to look at. Remote is handy. Being able to adjust the sensitivity using the remote would be a nice plus as the needle response varies greatly with input level. A very nice addition to an analog system.

Looks awesome!
Looks really cool and works great. Tapping it off my amp so only using it for speakers.

If you have multiples of amps and speakers, you need at least one!
If you are one of those weird audiophile types that has multiples of EVERYTHING, you need at least one of these. I am one of those weirdos. I have 4 variations of this and this one is my favorite. I am always comparing different amps and speakers. This lets you do it via remote control and stay seated in your listening position. If works well, its easy to use and setup, and looks good. At the price, it is a good value. It is a little bigger than some of the others, but I like the look so that was a plus for me.

I couldn't find $160 worth of value in the LC 30
The unit is put together nicely and looks pretty good. I just felt I was getting some distortion through it, something I didn't get before installing the unit. I also wasn't a fan of adjusting the sensitivity dial for most every new artist or recording. One song the needles are moving along nicely the next nothing. I don't want to give Fosi products a bad rap, I own and use a pair of Fosi V3 mono blocks and those units are A+. The LC30 just didn't give me what I was looking for, it might for you.

The meters make this amazing
I love the way this product looks in my system. I wish I could leave it plugged in all of the time, but I keep moving my equipment around and I haven't settled on a permanent setup. The solutions works great and I don't notice it's presence in/out of my setup. To my ears it's truly pass through with little effect on the results. You can get a clear A/B comparison between speakers or amps depending on what you connect to it. it's a great way to switch from 2 channel audio to home theater which is what I typically use it for.

A Bit of a Let Down
I am a hifi hobbiest, so I like to compare different pairs of speakers. While I don't get really geeky with it, I do use a dB sound meter app on my phone to compare volume level. I thought this device would help me determine the wattage each speaker was drawing during a particular song, but the needle bounces all over the place you can't even get a good average read. You can use the knob to limit the bouncing, but I have to think that skews the true reading. And the documentation was no help. I really wanted to like this device but, for this reason, I had to send it back.

Does what I want and looks great
I needed a switch to switch between two receivers and one set of stereo speakers. I have a high quality (Outlaw Audio RR2150) that I want to use for music and primarily for listening to vinyl records. I have a Marantz AV receiver for movies and gaming. I could have used a number of switch devices to do this but went with this one because it does this AND it looks great. Let's face it, we like the looks as well as the sound of quality Hi-Fi equipment. The build is pretty high quality with good quality binding posts. As others have pointed out, the meters don't really provide any real purpose but they do 'work'. The switch neither adds or subtracts from the source so it's a win for me. Would be a 5 star if the meters were logarithmic and could be switched to fast or slow response but this, to me, is a nit.

Not an issue for my use, but you can only use one amp or one speaker set at a time.
I used this to compare speakers. Works great. No issues that I could discern.
