Finally a countdown electrical clock which won't break the bank. Easy to setup, clear to view, simple to hang on wall. We have it in our business to countdown a variety of upcoming events...our patients love it.

I bought this to help my kids countdown to certain things. First, we were able to countdown to when we were going to a Halloween party. Then we used to countdown Halloween. After that, we used it to countdown to a trip we were taking them on and currently we are counting down to Thanksgiving. After Thanksgiving, we'll be doing Christmas. I bought this because I got tired of them asking how many more days until this or that. With this timer, we can easily set it for the date and even the time to when and what we're counting down to. The instructions were really easy to follow too. My kids can now go to the timer and read it for themselves without asking us.

Takes a lot of tries to get the buttons to work id say almost impossible to use

It is bright and works very well. The directions have a lot to be desired. They are very bad. It takes a lot of trial and error to get it to operate the way you want it to. The clock unit has a slick look. Simple with straight edges.

Takes a minute to get your head wrapped around the controls but quality is decent on the display and does what it says

This device is multi-functional and can be used as a clock, stopwatch, or countdown timer. It was fairly easy to set up but there are a couple things to note:- most remotes like the one included here have a plastic pull tab to activate the battery. On this remote, you have to open the battery compartment (which sounds easier than it was, at least for me), gently pull up on the spring that keeps the battery in place, and try to get the thin plastic circle out. It's fine, but a pull tab would have been easier.- whether you're setting the clock or the countdown timer, you need to add one minute, because as soon as you start the clock or timer, it increases or decreases respectively, by one minute.The display is large and bright, and we're using it to count down to Christmas! Overall, it's a win!

The only way to set this timer is with the remote. Unfortunately the remote has to be held at an exact position for it to work. Because of this it is very frustrating to use. I also don't like that it has a black cord that has to be plugged in at all times. There are lots of options for hanging. Also, I would like it if there was a sound when the timer is done. Not my favorite timer. It is basic black with no additional buttons. It is easy to see.
