My Sonos One speakers would not work with Spectrum’s router so I did a search and this Deco router came up with great reviews.Had to reset the app installation & do it a second time when the (Spectrum) modem wouldn’t recognize it during the first installation (unplugging & re-plugging the modem alone didn’t work). After that, works like a dream.Saves me $10+ a month renting Spectrum’s big clunky router & I get my surround sound back. Win-win!

Cat 6 and newer performance improvement in my network, especially as I work from home. Setup and installation was simple and straightforward. The UI is easy to access via the app and allows full control of clients on the network. Security and privacy settings provide the ability to ensure reliable connectivity.

The setup for this is done via an App which you have to do on your phone. This process, which should be simple, has a few issues. At first, the App "found my deco" without any issues and the light on the unit was Solid Blue. But as I was setting it up with my Network name and password, the App instructs you to reset your Modem. When you do this, the Deco light begins flashing Blue and you receive an error that your network could Not be configured. Afterwards, the App would not find my deco AT ALL. I rebooted the deco several times, as well as the modem and then restarted the deco App. After restarting the App several times it finally found my deco and I started over entering the Network name and password but I skipped rebooting my modem as the App instructed and after a firmware update it seems to be working as it should.

Works fantastic! Used to extend my WiFi from home to metal shop and it worked great.

Worst product. I bought this mesh to replace the previous one (also deco) that was disconnecting from the modem with no reason and required reset and reconfiguration to work again. I assumed the previous one had a problem and I had it for 1 year. Big mistake buying deco again, less than 6 months and I am having problems again. Check the modem, changed cables, and finally connect a different router and everything seems to be working except the deco mesh that reports no or few connectivity to the internet. Did all the troubleshooting steps and now it says to reset it, such a disappointment , this means that I need to setup all connected devices lile camaras, echos, tvs again.

My nighthawk mesh took a dump on me and the last satellite died after I lost the first satellite one year into owning it so I pitched that thing and did little research with my fiancee and we found this one. The set up was super easy and everything connected right away unlike with the overpriced nighthawk crap I had. Will update if this set up tanks but as far as setting up and getting online it was super fast and easy.

I thought this would do better than it did. I’m in a 1200 sqft ranch home. And I wanted to upgrade from the rental router from my service provider thinking I would have better coverage and maybe even less speed loss over WiFi compared to the rental router.My speeds are about ~150mbps slower on this setup. And I’m 15 ft away from the main unit. I thought I’d have much better reception and I definitely don’t. I have one in the middle of the house and one on each end. Really not that far apart. Maybe 20 ft between each unit. I don’t feel they have great range. Honestly considering sending them back and going back to the rental. Setup was easy, but do a firmware upgrade after all are linked. And in the app it said I could just plug in an additional unit and it will f c connect automatically. It did not and I had to hit the plus sign to add it. No big deal but I was left waiting thinking it would connect like it said.
