Perfect solution for weak WIFI
We love our Chromecast for streaming but the WIFI signal in our basement is a bit too weak to stream 4K properly. We are lucky enough to have a network connection near our TV so this USB-C ethernet adapter has worked perfect for us.Just plug your power and network cables in to the adapter and then plug the adapter in to your Chromecast. That's it - I did not have to do anything else. You may need to check your network connections but I had no issues at all.All my WIFI issues went away and the Chromecast is always streaming perfectly regardless of what's going on with our wireless network.Easy to recommend, will work for almost any USB-C powered streaming device.

great tool to give wifi devices a hardwired connection it the internet or home network.it provides power and a wired connection.unit needs to be plugged into a power adapter.all you do is plug it into the usb c port it nothing else to configure other than plugging in a network cable to your router or network switch.do not use the double sided tape that comes with it, use a 3m branded tape the kind that leaves no residue

This allowed me to connect my Google TV to the the ethernet so there's no lag. Great item!
