Can be used both with or without plugged, you need charge it before if you don't want to plug while using. Don't overload too much, I just destroyed a load cell. Hope it help.

The defaut frequency is 1s10HZ,you can adjust it but if the value of number changes too fast ,the stability can not be guaranteed .

The tip is just tip, you need connect to the gauge to get the weight. The separate tips did not do anything. You need connect the tip and push or pull the gauge to get the weight/force. Is this help? This kind question is better for manufacture/seller.
