The headline is it really splits logs with ease and it's great at making kindling as well.I've been splitting 8" and 16" logs as well as making kindling and it's a lot easier, and quicker, than using an axe. More accurate too. It breaks down easily for storage, which is good because the individual parts are solid and quite heavy.A small niggle is that the weight slider rod tends to undo where it screws together. The recommendation is to use thread lock but then you can't split the rod for easy storage. I regularly check it's tight. The second blade, facing up, is a bit redundant as the top one is so effective.

I had a different slide hammer wood splitter called the Anaconda and thought it worked great. It was loud and hurt my ears if I didn't wear protection. I broke it by reverse slide hammering up instead of down when it was getting stuck in fresh cut logs. I saw the videos of this Smart Manual Log Wood Cutter AX and thought for the price I should buy it to replace the Harbor Freight tool I brought with me from the US. I am not disappointed at all! It goes though the same fresh cut logs easier and with less noise. So easy my 13 year old daughter can split up the big logs all by herself. I have had shoulder injuries and can not swing an axe anymore without a lot of pain. This slide hammer design is Amazing! It doesn't cause any pain in my shoulders to use. I'm so happy that I took a chance and bought this one.

si, he leido muchas malas opiniones pero despues de ver varios videos y entender como usar esto correctamente yo me decidi a pedirlo igualmente y sinceramente ha sido un gran descubrimiento.Llego antes de la fecha prevista y bien empaquetado, es facil de montar pero necesitaras un tablkon grueso o tocon grande o como en mi caso media viga de tren que es casi perfecta para eso.A pesar de los comentarios, tengo que decir que funciona perfecto, incluso con troncos realmente grandes pero solo si lo sabes usar bien y entiendes como funciona. En trocos grandes y de madera dura has de dar bastantes toques pero siendo sinceros eso tambien pasa con un hacha y con el unico sistema que no pasa es con maquinas de partir leña electricas o neumaticas pero tienen un precio desorbitado para un uso particular.La clave para que de un resultado perfecto partiendo la leña es colocar siempre bien atornillado y alineado la cuchilla inferior y apoya el tronco en ella y en la superior antes de empezar, ademas hay que colocar bien el tronco, nunca pretender abrirlo por el centro sino por los bordes porque si abres el borde se abre todo y si el tronco es muy pero muy grueso entonces ponerlo en el borde pero para cortarlo no hacia el centro sino hacia el otro borde. Si se coloca bien, funciona perfecto, comprobadoCreo que el principal problema o fallo del producto es que el fabricante no explica todos estos detalles ni en el manual ni tiene un video detallado de uso y claro, la gente pretende abrir troncos de madera dura colocando la cuchilla no justo en el borde sino mas al centro y eso es casi imposible, asi no.Vamos, que en casa todos podemos partir leña rapidamente y de manera perfecta. Ah, y usando un martillo de goma y la cuchilla inferior haces un monton de artillas de encendido de forma muy rapida y te ahorras un buen dineroLo volveria a comprar sin dudarlo y te lo recomiendo (pero busca videos de gente que explica como usarlo bien o seras otro comentario negativo injusto)

non l'ho ancora usato e vi saprò dire. Mi pare robusto e facile da usare.
