How to Create Beaded & Wire Trees: Create Five Different Tree Sculptures

When I was visiting a friend I noticed a beaded tree sculpture that she had received as a gift. It was gorgeous! I had never seen anything like it. Being a crafty person, I wanted to learn about them. After reading reviews, I decided to give it a try. I ordered 3 books on the subject that were a suggested bundle from Amazon. The book is one of the best and most detailed art/craft books I have purchased. The diagrams are incredibly detailed. There are black and white pictures of the finished products. I have not had the opportunity to try this yet but when I do I will update my review. The main reason I wanted to review this early is because of the suggested bundle purchase from the website. It included this book and another book called Creating Gem, Beaded, & Bonsai Wire Trees. I did not notice that these two books were authored by the same person. All the techniques and projects from this book are included in the other book as well as other tree projects. The other book also included great information on supplies, tools, and marketing your trees. This book was copyrighted in 2009 and the other book in 2013. I would suggest the purchase of the other book due to the redundancy of the information and the additional information provided in the second book. Definitely do not buy both.

As an art major I found this book easy to use. The instructions are forthright and very clear. Trying to find fringe beads are not. They are buried under seed beads and many companies missrepresent what they actually have when you try to look fringe beads up on the internet. If the author knows of a good source of supply it would may the rest of the process a joy.

I got this book for my husband and he wasn't really impressed. It gave him the beginning steps but if you're looking on doing more intricate trees this book is not what you'll want. My husband just learned mostly about the trunk and root system from this book and that was it.

Although I have made beaded trees before, this book offered a different method than the one I had used. It is not the easiest instruction to follow, but it does present a lot of clever ideas.

I love working with wire. This booklet provides information on creating wire trees - I was looking for more and different ideas along the same line.

This is a Wonderful book on how to make Beautiful Beaded & Wire Trees & I Highly recommend this book!!! Sal Villano is Very, Very Talented & he has made such a Wonderful easy to understand book on how to make those Beautiful Trees yourself!!! Thank You so Very much Sal Villano :)

nice to have in one book- but same basic inst are free around internetpretty basic

I've never done wire art before. This book looks like to breaks it down in to easy to understand steps. Mr. Villano was also very kind and encouraging to me. Ships fast as well.

Excleent book for learning this craft with plenty if room for own ideas.
