I absolutely love this tea bottle! The design is both elegant and functional, perfect for all kinds of teas and a must-have for any tea enthusiast. I've been using it regularly at home and bringing it to work, and I've received so many compliments on how stylish it looks.It also comes with a protective carrying bag, so easy to bring it around, and to work for me. I like how all the parts come apart easily, so it's super simple to clean thoroughly, so no tea residue left behind!And I like the double-layer cup. It keeps the drink warm, and I can actually hold it during meetings.

Glass is easy to handle with the heatVery easy to cleanEasy to functionTop portion is hot to the touch when the tea is simmering in the hot water, but the bottom glass is not hot to the touch when strained, it also stays hot for up to 20-25 mins. Easy clean up after each use, I just absolutely love it.

Reluctant to buy after reading comments, but it works great and is a better designed product compared to what is out there.The lower glass chamber can hold a large cup of tea. Steep it halfway then drain, then refill to the top and let it sit and brew. So you are getting 1 and a half servings of tea.The mesh stainless strainer has a locking mechanism so when you dump out the tea make sure it's locked in. Otherwise the steel marble and mesh will fall out with the discarded tea leaves.

I first tried their smaller teapot model. It worked pretty well, but I didn't like the fact that it was all plastic, so I exchanged it for this model, which is supposed to be an upgrade. Indeed, it looks and feels better than the small model, and most importantly, the brewing cup and the bottom cup are made of glass instead of plastic. However, this model as a deal-breaking flaw: the ball valve doesn't work well. It typically works as expected on the first brew, but starts leaking on consecutive brews. What I mean is when I release the button, the tea keeps trickling down from the top cup. Some other reviewers have mentioned this and posted videos. I think what happens is some small bits of tea leaves get in there through the steel filter and prevent the valve from fully sealing against the silicone ring. What's interesting is that I never experienced the same thing with the smaller model, but in that model the whole middle part is silicone, so maybe that helps. This flaw makes the teapot unusable, which is very disappointing, as I otherwise like it's design and prefer the upgraded materials over the plastic and silicone of the other model. Will be returning.Note: this model also has some plastic and silicone elements in the strainer section, but much less than the smaller model.
