I was unable to find any info. methane, butane and propane and others* but that doesnt say H2S specifically. **Q: Can it be used for car?** A: It will detect gasoline fumes but is not a carbon monoxide detector. **Q: Will this detect hydrogen** A: No **Q: Will it work for r290 refrigerant?** A: Although I have never tried it on refrigerant. The unit is made to detect combustible gasses.
