Good, not excellent
The only drawback is that it is a bit noisy.

Good value induction hob
Bought for £99. Result. My first induction hob so have no direct reference. But here's what I know after a little while:PROS: heats up v quickly. 3 Hobs no problem. Can't ever remember ever needing more than 3 jobs at once. (Maybe Christmas Day!?!) Anyway, ample cooking space. Often use two hobs at the same time and it's a breeze. Control panel responsive, easy to operate.CONS: Each hob can be set between 1 and 9. Between 4 and 5 seems to be a big difference in the application of power. It's not a problem per se but a behavioural quirk.Overall, very happy with it. Easy installation. Very reasonably priced.

Portable hob
Purchased as Aga turned off for summer. Needed a hob. Decided on single plate as thought be good with the BBQ to keep sauces/chilli hot. Fabulous brings pans to boil rapidly and it doesn’t take up much space. Wipes clean.

I just love it
Love the clean lines, I have never had a hob bring water to the boil as fast as this does, spillages wipe away easily and nothing burns to the hob as it never gets hot enough. I haven't had any issues with pots or pans not being detected as I have heard in reviews for other products. I would never go back to gas.

talk about a watched pot never boils
After nine and a half years I've had to replace an Andrew James induction hob with this manufacturer's one. I wouldn't buy an Andrew James one again because although just under ten years of constant use might be considered by many a reasonable amount of time to last: it's not the fifty years my Bosch convection/conventional oven or twenty seven years my Panasonic convection combination microwave oven were able to last me, both of which I've only in the last few months had to replace, the latter: last week.I was convinced the pot I was testing out filled with water was taking much too long a time to heat so I started again with a stop watch and it took exactly the same amount of time as the Andrew James so no fault there. The temperature gauge, which I use to fry with is not as controllable as the Andrew James one. It skips the desired temperature the first few times so I can't immediately make my selection but I could eventually. I'll give this the benefit of the doubt and say it's because its new but if it continues to do this: I'll send the product back. To make the selection you have to SLIDE your fingers to the left (to decrease) and to the right (to increase) the temperature. This you don't have to do for the power level. I ONLY preheat water at the highest setting but cook everything at the lowest one and this machine chooses both these power settings when I press the minus or plus button INSTANTLY. Perhaps if I was choose a power level in between I'd have to use the sliding control. I've only ever cooked on the lowest setting of every appliance I've ever owned so I don't need to access these other power levels, which means I'm not likely to ever be able answer this question. For the past thirty five years I've ONLY cooked with induction and I've always had three individual induction hobs My Andrew James has just been one. The oldest I bought from Argos as their own label so I've no idea what brand that really was but it still works tremendously well. Sixty years ago I purchased a ceramic hob which I've still got and this still works admirably well. Not surprising since as I've said for the past thirty five years I've never had to touch it. When I first started cooking with induction to poach an egg I had to use my ceramic hob because the egg took too short a time to poach using induction but after thirty five years of poaching them with induction I'm surprised I had experienced so many difficulties at the beginning as I clearly remember.

Looks like a great item.. but internal damaged
Unpacked item ready for electrician to install, there was a rattling noise. At first glance, it appeared something may have worked loose, as it was possible to see a spring rolling around on the inside.Electrician opened up the casing and discovered 3 of the mounting brackets/springs of the induction ring had snapped off the main casing.Submitted a refund request through Amazon, which was promptly addressed.Just ordered another of the same, and hopefully it won't have the same issue. Will write a review when in use.

Good, but!
It’s an induction hob and it’s works fine as so… however it’s a little big for the size and it has quite a high standby current…. Which means it needs unplugging (if you’re worried about power consumption - like running off off batteries) it also has a poor/complex/complicated interface
