I have had 2 unit die on me each after about 3 months. they work fine until they just die. The units would still respond to the up down control on the phone, but the wall switch will stop responding. When I requested a replacement from the seller, he asked for my address, phone number and pictures. I gave them the pictures and the address, but they still wanted me to video tape it and upload to youtube.

5-Stars for awesomeness, but the back was too wide to fit in my box! So the install will now big a big project! Ugh.However this is an awesome product at a great price with easy set up and amazing Echo control for my awning. I wish I did this years ago!!!I love how new products keep coming out and prices keep going down for solutions I couldn’t execute years ago when I first started with home automation 7 years ago.

I am not an electrician, but after learning about the neutral wire and hot wire set up I got it installed. Excellent features and look. I can now open and close my exterior shade using my phone from anywhere in the world. Excellent product. If you have a manual three position switch this is your best solution.
