Normal valve stem caps. They look better then the plastic ones. No issues with them.

Clean looking and the metal doesn't flatten or tear like the standard plastic ones. Smooth threads that hold securely to the tire valve stem.

These are nice valve stem caps. I ordered these for a 4X4 that I air down the tires quite often so I remove and replace my caps a lot. The texture on these caps is great. It makes it very easy to get a grip on them. Also, these caps are almost twice as tall as the original plastic caps on my rig which again make it much easier to grip. The black coating on the caps is durable and resists scratches well. The plastic threaded inserts tighten down snugly and I didn't experience any leaks. You can't for anything more from a cap. I also like that there are 12 in the package. As careful as I am I will occasionally loose a cap in the woods. Having 8 extras is super handy for replacements down the road.

I just had to buy a new tire when my old one was punctured near the sidewall. Not only did the (normally very good) tire shop forget to check the pressure in all 4 tires (new tire was 4 PSI lower than the others), they forgot to put a valve stem cap back on!Well these caps are better than the stock ones anyway. The texture makes them really easy to grip and turn, and probably the other stuff about them from the product page (plastic lined metal construction) is good too. If there is metal in them, I'm guessing it's aluminum since magnets have no effect on them.This isn't a high-stakes item - your tires could happily go through life without any cap at all - but they do protect the valve and they look good, so I'm very satisfied with them.

It was a little tight screwing in initially, but once I took it off and tried again, it was cool.

I'm so glad I had these! I was washing my wife's car this morning, and realized that two of her tires were missing the valve stem caps. The drive through oil change place checked her tire pressure and forgot to put the caps back on one side. The caps threaded on easily and have grippy edges for easier use. They are also nice and deep, and got a few turns in on the valve stem.

These are some great valve covers. The inner side of them seems to be made of a sturdy plastic, while a thin layer of the outside is made out of metal.Overall, the look of these is kind of great, with a shiny glossy black which makes a cool contrast against the rims. However, I do find them to be a bit larger and stick out more than regular valve caps, so in certain valve positions these might be prone to causing damage to the valve from objects brushing against it.Either way, cannot beat the price for the three sets that are included and definitely it’s a step up from regular plastic valve caps.
