I'm happy with my purchase as the dimensions were perfect and offered at a very affordable price. The assembly instructions were generally easy to follow, however it took a while to put together (probably nearly an hour). I suggest that you allow a six-foot square space to work in and spread out the different parts while assembling. In summary: If you are patient and careful, you'll also be happy with your purchase as I am.

LOVE this file cabinet! I was trying to match a Pottery Barn desk and did not want the standard "office gray" or "office beige" metal file cabinet color. This beautiful ivory / cream color compliments my desk perfectly. It's a sturdy little dude, and I am also using it as my printer stand. It arrived way earlier than I had expected, and I was excited to assemble it. The frame went together quickly and without any issues. I was a little afraid of the drawers because there appeared to be so many pieces, but the instructions were very clear, and once one drawer was completely assembled, it was very easy to repeat the process for the other drawer. All in all, it did not take much time to set up and it is a great addition to my space! So happy I found it!

good looking cabinet however, lost a star becuase you have to put it together. Don't think the price is worth it compared to others that you dont have to assemble yourself.

It came faster than expected, it was easy to put together, it looks nice and able to hold up all my files.

Waited forever for this to arrive and then it just got thrown in the trash anyway. I saw that there was going to be "assembly required" when I ordered it, but had no idea of the extent of it. There are 36 tiny, tiny screws (less than 1 inch in total length I would guess, not even exaggerating) that are almost impossible to hold onto and line up in the holes even if the holes are out in the open, though they are often right next to a part of the filing cabinet. A couple of the holes were barely drilled and the screws would not thread in them. I tried making the holes bigger, which bent part of the filing cabinet.The box the filing cabinet came in did not seem to be damaged, though noticed a wheel on one of the tracks was bent, so seemed to be a quality control issue. I will never know if the drawer would have worked anyway. The directions are lacking in crucial details and when looking at the pictures that go along with them, they lack crucial details as well. I was surprised how easy it was to crush the parts of the filing cabinet as I prepared it for trash pickup.

I was actually expecting it to come altogether in one piece! Directions not clear but very sturdy once together.

Works well and as described

This arrived quickly and well packaged. It included all the hardware, plus screwdriver and gloves for edges. Assembled in 1/2 hour and feels sturdy. It is good for my home use of personal filing needs, but I wouldn't recommend it for heavy files and daily use as it is very lightweight metal.
