Its only a trim kit, has a 3 function diverter to control 2 water outlets- in my case a handheld and a shower head and the 3rd position lets water flow to both outlets. You will need to purchase a multi function delta valve and the two outlet options you want to drive, in my case a handheld water spray and a rainhead.Purchasing this way gives you flexibility in the options you pair, in my case I wanted a multi function handheld which I could not find in the packages they sell. Also pricing separately beat the pricing on comparable packages, I estimate I saved between $500 and $1000

Simplicity

The product was not sold as an all-in-one kit and it is hard to find out what to order to make it so. Total cost is high: near $500 uninstalled.It will not produce a flow rate of 5 gpm as advertised.It will flow at about 2 gpm or less because the plastic cartridge makes all water, hot and cold, go through two holes about the size of an ice pick (5/32" each). 5 gpm? No way!I proved it in an uninstalled bench test. Using a new shower head rated at 5 gpm and a garden hose I filled a 6 gallon bucket in 1 minute and 10 seconds. Inserting the Delta Faucet T24967 and recommended R20000 rough in valve between the hose and the shower head, the bucket was not half full after one minute.If you want old fashioned "water-fall" flow rates to get shampoo out of your wife's thick or long hair, you might have to give up on a slick one handle control device. I'm going back to two handles and a diverter for a hand held shower. I do not want to wait until such an expensive product is permanently installed behind a wall of marble to find out it is so disappointing. If flow rate means nothing to you, it is very well designed and built; and it will get you wet.Cudos to Amazon for their return policy.

Read the description carefully. This is not the entire valve assembly just the trim pieces and cartridge. Look at the picture which shows the items in the package. Valve body is sold separately making this a very expensive valve.Don't make the same mistake i made.UPDATE... This is NOT a 3 position diverter just a 3 setting with only 2 positions.Delta get your act together and stop tricking everyone.If you are planning to purchase something like this go on-line and find out as much as you can before buying. download manual also to make sure it will work for you.

Only one thing to add, Make sure that you order the rough in kit. It is not a complete kit without it.If you previously had a delta multi faucet, and you're just changing your style than you will be fine.

Instructions are difficult to read and incomplete. You will spend hours with many small pieces and still not figure it out exactly.

Not what I expected. Water temperature no longer as hot as it used to be. Expected better water pressure.
