I would give five stars if the other flange didn't bend when you tighten kind of an engineering fail.

The clamps work really well. Bought 5 of them for my tiki torches. Really easy to install

This would be so much nicer if welded-on nuts were used the screws.Otherwise, the bracket heavy gauge. The loosely threaded screw holes do not inspire confidence This seems okay for a tiki torch having its pole resting on the deck or patio. I appreciated and bought on price but would have paid a bit more for thread quality. I'm using this to hold a microphone boom counter-weight.

Broke instantly. I was attaching the clamp to my rail and as soon as there was the slightest tension it snapped and pulled away the clamp. How is this thing so flimsy?? Do not buy, if it doesn’t break when you first try to install it, it will soon after. I think the problem is the welds are really not strong, there’s barely anything keeping it together, no wonder it fell apart as soon as I put any pressure on it.

They were just what I needed to attach my tiki torches to my deck railing. We even had a huge storm the first night they were up and I woke up that morning thinking they would be gone but my tiki torches were still standing

I love these clamps, I think I like them even better than the stakes which are ridiculously overpriced. I set up the backyard for my mom and used these clamps. If the surface is flat you can CLAMP IT!!How cool is that, for extra Mother's Day ambiance, I used a clamp at the bird bath, it was so cool!

I'm so happy to find these clamps! We searched a while but had trouble finding them at a reasonable price. We are using them to attach torches to our deck. These work perfect. Highly recommend them!

Very good clamp for straight cut rail and post. Just not for me. I wanted a reliable good looking clamp for my railing and felt I could give this a go even though my rail is curved. The clamp does hold but slides so is not 100% reliable for me. I could do with a curve side on the clamp. Anyone know of such a clamp?

The screw on the clamp that tightens the clamp to the deck rail is stripped and will not hold the solar lamp (that I also purchased from Amazon) to my balcony rail ... Please send me a replacement clamp ... Thank You ... James Thomson (a frequent Amazon customer)
