Good value for the money
Lots of torque! Very powerful for 1/2" drill. If held improperly it could break your wrist. Use with two hands. When first used there was a burnt wire smell coming from the cooling fan area.

Started burning the first time I pulled the trigger. Garbage! Lasted less than 24 hours...
I had owned the drill for about a month, but never used it. So, the first time I put a bit in it, I didn't expect to smell the drill burning, but I sure did. I passed it off as "maybe the brushes were new", but after attempting to drill 1 hole, I knew better. I hate to tell you, but I never finished drilling the 1 whole. The drill was trashed. Remember folks, cheap things come with a cheap price. Pay a little more and get something that will last you.

Worked great for me.
I read a few comments that said they smelled a plastic burning smell, but I didn't notice a smell, worked great for me. I used it only to was and buff the car. I buffed with it, probably 40mins full speed, never had an issue.

Not quite as described in Operator's Manual
I just received this Hammer Drill and have not yet put it to full use. What I have discovered so far is that the Lock-On Button does not quite work as described. To quote the manual: "It allows you to continuously operate the drill at a preset RPM without holding down the trigger switch". Not quite factual. You can only do this at maximum RPM and not at any preset lower speeds. The reason for this is apparently because to operate the drill continuously - as in my drill press shown on photo - you must "pull the trigger switch back fully, depress the Lock-on button and release the trigger". That, of course, means maximum RPM.I will add an update once I have put this drill to use.UPDATE: I have discovered that this drill cannot be securely clamped to a drill press because the collar used for that purpose has a tapered surface. This could cause the drill to loosen during use and thus risk an injury. Consequently I have returned the drill.

1/2 drill
Nice drill smaller then I expected for 1/2 drill. I like how compact it is. I haven’t used it yet just plugged it in and tested it. The quality looks great. Looking forward to using it.

Meh
For the price I guess you can’t complain. It wouldn’t sink a really big GRK into wood. I got it most of the way but had to use a ratchet to get it down all the way. She smoked a little cause the hold down button for some reason is in a stupid location so when you wrap your hand around the handle I guess it presses it down. Drill still works and it’s got a 3 year warranty If it ever fails so no big deal

Better to drill holes with a brace and bit
If you enjoy the smell of hot burning electrical then this is the drill for you. I built a timber frame shed this summer. Beams were 6x5, this thing smojed on the first hole and got very hot. Tried to slow the drill speed down with the trigger but lost that battle. Could not drill a 3/4 inch hole in one try, had to stop and let it cool then go until it smoked again. By the end of the hole the plastic around the motor was to hot to touch. Disposable one use drills....our environment will love this
