Needed a different shaped strike to replace the old brass ones. The new locks came with T shaped strikes.

These strike plates were a bit thin, but do a good job and I would use them again in the future.

This set of replacement door strikes is pretty good. It comes with the strike plates, which are a nice finish protected by sticky plastic that peels off, a ‘dust box’ if the receiving hold for the door hardware is messy, screws and multiple dowels to fill existing holes so you can put the screws for these wherever they need to be. The hold in the strike plate is the type that is rounded on the top and bottom, not the more rectangular shaped hole, so if your door hardware has a large catch on it, it may be an issue, but this should work for most doorknobs. The strike plates are not particularly thick, but adequate for home use. Not as heavy duty as commercial grade. Happy with these to upgrade strike plates that are getting a bit worn looking. Would also be good if you find some passage sets that don’t have strike plates included.

This door latch striker set comes super simple in a clear zippered plastic bag and did not include any information on the product or the seller. Everything that the kit claims was included but the issue is the quality. The striker plates were chipped, lightly warped and scuffed as if they had all been used before. The screws are a softer metal so stripping them is easy. The dowels are a very soft wood that can crack and break before fitting into prior drill holes. The dust catches are of a softer plastic that can bend by finger strength. This kit will work, doing its job but with the poor quality materials and the damaged strikers, it was just a disappointment.

I moved into a house with does that did not latch and stay closed, I replaced the strikers with these, and now they close perfectly.
