I don't have a microwave, but in its place is a hot water kettle and toaster. This product exceeded my expectations. The top shelf has two levels of choice, depending on your desires. I used the top or third tier. It worked perfect. It's strong and sturdy. Easy to assemble, but if there is a "negative" the directions are limited in how to assemble, but once I figured it out, it was easy. The ability to expand the width is awesome and gives you an ability to adjust as needed! I would recommend this to all my friends that have the need for something like this.
