I am thrilled with my purchase of this smart door lock. It feels sturdy and reliable, comparable to the commercial door lock that I’m replacing. There are plenty of methods to unlock it—app, passcode, fingerprint, key, and RFID card—I love the flexibility. The design fits all standard door lock drills, and the installation was easy and straightforward; it only took me 10 minutes to figure everything out, uninstall the old one, and install the new one. I am using it for an office door, and it is ideal for landlords and property managers for residential use too. Highly recommended for anyone looking to upgrade their door lock.

Had no problem installing product and it works great

When I was looking for a smart lock, I needed something effective and easy to use. It also helps that it looks good! It had a video providing step by step instructions which made installation easy. I did not need any special tools. The lock comes with a companion app which provided several ways to open your lock (password, fingerprint, key fob, key, and temporary passwords). Everything was easy to use and I highly recommend this product.

My main complaints about this are really my fault for miss reading, or totally missing, parts of the description. Which, I can't hold against the product itself, because it was my expectation that was wrong.I was super disappointed that I missed the references to needing a gateway to connect this to wifi. This I DO hold against the product, due to how with wifi was first referenced in the listing. At the time I ordered, the "about" section of the product included this: "7 in 1 WiFi Keyless Door Lock with Handle: Upgrade your front door with 7 different unlocking ways - fingerprint recognition, Bluetooth app control, keypad password, key fob, physical key, remote unlocking, and Alexa voice commands. Offer personalized access for your children, elderly, and other family members, eliminating the worries of lost or stolen keys." It wasn't until later, buried in the description (which, I totally missed) that it mentioned needing a gateway. This was one of the major factors in me choosing this locks over others. This lock is not wifi. I want to be able to receive notifications while I'm out of town if this door is opened. But, that isn't possible without an additional purchase. This lock is Bluetooth, but there are devices that can bridge that into wifi, so calling it wifi is disingenuous. That said, it does (later in the description) clearly say it needs a gateway, so I'm only going to lightly count this against the product.It is clearly listed in the description, but I didn't realize until I used this how much I disliked that code needs to be at least 6 numbers long. All my other pin numbers are 4, so this was something I hadn't expected to dislike.Two other small gripes - there is no way to lock the door on the handle from INSIDE if the autolock is off, and the allowed time for autolock is between 1 and 60 seconds, not 1 and 99 seconds as the listing advertises.ALL of that said, the lock itself looks good, and I like the feel of it. Install was easy, and battery replacement is a snap. It has a custom app, but I quickly realized it was just a reskinned version of the "Smart Life" app, which I already had other devices on (and had loaded into my google home). So, I swapped over to that with no issues. None of my issues are real deal breakers, more of annoyances that keep a nice looking product from being "perfect".

This smart door lock is easy to install, well made, feels great, and its app is easy to use. I highly recommend it.

Often doesn't want to accept thumb print to the point of locking me out

This was a fair price for a better than expected door lock. Installation was super easy. I especially like the finger print access! I highly recommend!
