Good price and fairly decent quality
The supply is very easy to set-up, and generally precise. So-far I have only used it in constant voltage (OCP), but mine apparently goes up to 31v. When testing the outputs with my multimeter, it seemed to always read just below the displayed voltage (e.g. 2.0V on the supply was actually 1.95V on the meter). I tested this with and without leads connected to the output, and the result was the same, so it does not seem like there's loss through the provided cables and the supply's internal regulator is just slightly undertuned. Good enough for prototyping circuits and basic tests, not so good for high-precision applications. I'll also note that the supply will always start at the last setting you had it when it was turned off, good for resuming an ongoing project. My biggest gripe was that my unit came preset to the maximum output. Thankfully I have the foresight to check these sorts of things before making connections, but that just seems like a safety problem sourced by QA at the manufacturing line and not by the overall design. You don't give someone the keys to a new car that when started the is in drive at full-throttle, the car should be in park and completely idle when started, that's just common sense. For this very reason, I wish that the supply would just always start at 0V/0A, but have a memory feature for both CC and OCP modes that recalls the last setting for both modes before you turned it off.

Awesome
Really I don't know what i was expecting but the product is amazing. I usually dont review products but I'm so happy with it that I feel it's fair to reward a good product. I haven't used its usb outlet but as a power source it's super precise, easy to use. Amps work exactly as expected, it reads the current draw if it's under the set value and if the set value is lowered it limits the draw. - I haven't analyzed the wave's noise on a scope but i've used it with a wide range of stuff and so far so great. :)

To say that I LOVE this little supply is a gross understatement
Let me count the ways. The user interface is well thought out and intuitive. While it IS "different" to have to momentarily push in a knob to select the digit that sets the current or voltage you want, you'll get used to it quickly. The coarse knobs default to the whole unit of amps or volts and the fine knobs select the digits to the right of the decimal. The digits borrow and carry as you spin the rotary encoder knobs so that, if you wanted, you could go from 0 to 10 Amps in 1 milli-amp increments. After you quit changing settings, the display reverts to actual measured voltage/current/watts. The unit was well behaved on power up and shutdown and there were no transients observed. A HUGE plus for me was that it survived multiple shorts applied while at the full 30 volts output. I went from no load to shorting the leads together several times and the supply took it. That would have been instant death for a similarly priced Chinese supply I had purchased previously, I kept a stock of a particular transistor on hand for those occasions when I fried it. There is apparently a capacitor directly on the output since shorting the supply when it's set to 30 volts results in a pretty loud snap and sparks. This means that the current limiting only works on a sustained basis. Conceivably, if you're working on something with delicate traces, you might want to use some external resistor on the supply to provide some instantaneous current limiting. This behavior is tolerable now that I know about it, supplies that are flawless cost considerably more. The supplied leads are decent and fairly substantial so I'm not sure why some people complained . Those who knocked off stars because their supply had a max output of 23 volts need to read other reviews then change the 220V/110V switch on the back, then go back and change their review and apologize to the folks who made this wonderful device. This supply is significantly better than a similar supply that is currently Amazon's best seller in the category. (Kungber) The FINE knobs have no weird end of rotation. The power switch is right in front where it should be. No internal trace blew up when dumping the output capacitor. This supply so far, is bullet proof. A quiet fan kicks on if you work the supply hard. The only thing defective about the unit that I got is that the audible short circuit alarm doesn't work but I don't care about that enough to bother Amazon about it. It was a bargain at $69 though if I had waited a day, I could have got it for $55, oh well.

Compact, easy to set
This was as advertised, and worked well out of the box. Easy to set with macro and micro set knobs, seems pretty accurate. Beats having to put a fuse in line every time I test a new circuit.

Good deal - so long as the high-frequency whine doesn't bother you
I put this supply through its paces on my workbench, and can verify that it meets the voltage and current ratings specified. Heed the numerous reviews that caution against use of the included leads - they are indeed flimsy. And as other reviewers have cautioned, this unit is known for emitting a high-frequency whine whether or not anything is attached. At first I was concerned, because it sounded a bit like electrical arcing, so I opened it to investigate. Using a stethoscope, I discovered that it was simply coil vibration noise, with the largest transformer (identified in the photo) being the primary culprit.Unlike other reviewers, I did not observe any appreciable noise on the DC line - definitely under 40 mVp-p at the 15V setting, as indicated in the attached oscillogram (regrettably I could not reduce the vertical scale due to the cheapness of my oscilloscope). So long as you ignore the high frequency whine (which goes away at some voltage settings - and maybe some of you older folks won't even hear it!), this is a reasonable power supply at this price point.By the way, I don't get the folks complaining about how difficult it is to set the current limiting. You simply short the leads and adjust it - just like you do on high-end power supplies like the $3,000 Hewlett-Packard/Agilent/Keysight units we use at work (an electronic test lab).

Used as Slot Car power supply
Used on a 3 lane routed wooden track. Adequate power for 3 22,000 rpm slot cars and being able to vary the voltage is great for introducing young children to the activity.

Good value for the money
This device does exactly what it's supposed to. If you have a good working knowledge of things electrical - and follow the instructions in the user guide - you'll have no trouble operating it. Just remember that volts and amps cannot be set to constant mode concurrently. Someone posting elsewhere said they tried to do this and concluded that the device was defective.

Great for hobbyists.
I has been in service for over a year now and so far it has performed perfectly.

Works Great
If you are a hobbiest, into building your own devices, work with motors, 3D printers, etc., then this is a must have item for your studio/shop. I use it to test low voltage fans, boards, etc., and it works very well and it is accurate for my needs.

The product is good but no VAT Invoice
The product was fine but we are a VAT Registered Company and I have requested countless times that I require a VAT invoice for this product and I just keep being ignored.
