Good for avid tea makers!
I do love how portable this is. USB rechargeable anywhere and if you need to charge and use it at the same time you can. Did not notice a smell to it when I opened the package. It’s very functional. Initially looked like there is a lot of moving parts to this, but once you figure it all out it’s a pretty sweet system. Not hard to use. I love making cold brew, nice and cold and I don’t have to heat it then cool it down. The system overall is nice. This would be a good gift for someone who is an avid tea maker!

It works, but makes me angry lol.
Easy to clean, makes good tea, wish it was just a bit bigger so I could make multiple servings. Only thing is, I really can't stand the fact that it has to be charged. I like the functionality of being able to take it places if I want to, but I need to be able to plug it into a wall too. Lately I keep forgetting to charge it, and then I end up with a dead tea maker and no tea. Also, the buttons remind me of an ipod from 2010. Very unresponsive sometimes and fury inducing.

Fast, Convenient, and Perfect Iced Tea Every Time
The Vianté Automatic Iced Tea Maker is a game-changer for iced tea lovers! Its fast cold brew technology ensures you get a refreshing and smooth brew without the need for heating, which makes it incredibly convenient, especially during the warmer months. I’ve used it several times now, and it consistently produces great-tasting iced tea in just minutes. The fact that there’s no heating needed is fantastic. Unlike traditional methods that involve boiling water and waiting for it to cool down, this iced tea maker lets you brew directly with cold water, making the whole process quicker and hassle-free. It’s perfect for those who want a fast, on-the-go solution to iced tea.The rechargeable battery is another handy feature. You don’t have to worry about plugging it in every time you use it, which means it’s portable and easy to take with you to picnics or outdoor gatherings. A single charge lasts for several brewing sessions, which is more than enough for daily use or entertaining guests. The included BPA-free glass pitcher is sleek and durable, and the fact that it’s glass adds to the premium feel of the product. It holds a good amount of tea and fits nicely in the fridge, so you can make a batch and store it for later. The glass pitcher also prevents any unwanted flavors from leaching into the tea, which is a huge plus. The taste of the iced tea is fantastic—smooth, flavorful, and without any bitterness. The cold brew process really brings out the natural flavors of the tea, and you can easily adjust the strength by simply changing the amount of tea or brewing time.Overall, the Vianté Automatic Iced Tea Maker is an excellent product for anyone who loves iced tea and wants a fast, convenient, and portable way to brew it. The no-heat cold brew technology, rechargeable battery, and BPA-free glass pitcher make it a standout product. Highly recommended for both iced tea aficionados and casual drinkers alike!

It takes forever to brew!
This is hard for me to review. On one hand, it made one of the best glasses of iced tea I’ve ever made. Seriously, it was delicious! However, it only gives you a little more than a full glass of tea and it took 45 minutes to brew something that wasn’t so weak it tasted like water. I really want to use it and enjoy it more, but the amount of time it takes to brew it for just one person makes it hard to use on a regular basis.

Gorgeous and works
It’s super easy to use—and The result is a smooth, refreshing brew that’s perfect for hot days (or anytime, really). I love how it brings out the flavors without any bitterness. Cleanup is a breeze, too. Plus, it’s a stylish addition to my kitchen. If you’re a tea lover looking for a new and simple way to enjoy cold tea, I highly recommend this

It breathes! Seriously, this thing could be a prop in a sci-fi TV show.
The media could not be loaded. TL/DR: It works, it brews cold tea quickly compared to most cold brew methods. It can be used to make somewhat concentrated tea but the actual tea volume is still limited. My big complaint is that it's apparently not safe to flip the lid over if it is wet, which is exactly what people are going to want to do when setting a wet lid down on a counter.I will come back and edit this review if I end up with any issues with this device long term.Longer version: This device is both simple and surprisingly complicated for a tea brewer, and part of me wants to deep dive into all the details of it, but I'm going to restrain myself and just say it's a clever use of an air pump to do work. Using an air pump has a real advantage of never running liquids you will drink through a pump that may be difficult to clean. But does being clever get you good tea? I'm actually pleasantly surprised. For an example brew, I have some butterfly pea flower tea that is sold for hot brewing with a 3 minute brew to produce 1 liter per tea bag. I enjoy this tea but it often ends up too weak when brewed according to the instructions, mainly because hot tea melts too much ice when cooling down. You need to brew the exact amount of water to get a good extraction without having too much and melting all your ice, and it's hard to be consistent. With this contraption, I put the tea bag in the infuser chamber, added 500ml of room temperature water, and let the tea brew for 30 minutes. I then move the tea to a pitcher where I diluted it with another 500ml of room temperature water to get the target amount of tea. Serve over ice and it tastes great. And it works every time. The results seem consistent every time.On the other hand, another tea, which would be a dark mahogany color when brewed hot, turn out pale amber after 30 minutes. Is that bad? Not necessarily, but it means you may need to experiment a bit to get a brew you like.Other features I like:It can be used with cold, room temperature, or even hot water. It is reasonably self-contained and compact compared to many iced tea brewers. It is quiet. It brews quickly enough that the risk of bacterial growth is minimal. It works well with loose leaf and bag tea.The tea chamber capacity is enough to brew a mild concentrate that you later dilute when serving.I am going to add that watching this thing work can be kinda fun. I posted a video showing the brewer pulling the tea from the pitcher into the central column. When filled to max it reverses as soon as it senses that the water has moved far enough so you don't see the bubbles, but either way the brewer works by just moving that tea back and forth through the tea leaves, and it's oddly satisfying to watch. The thing I don't like:When you are unboxing the brewer, you'll find a big sticker warning you about turning the lid - the part that has electronics - upside down because water can fall into the electronics and cause failures. I'm not a fan of that. If water intrusion is actually a risk there are things they could have done to seal and protect the delicate parts. I wouldn't be bothered if the warning was against immersing the top in water because it has an air pump that probably doesn't respond well to pumping water, but when you take a lid off something and set it on a counter you generally put it top-down to limit cross contamination risk.
