Pro ASP.NET MVC 5 Platform Paperback – 29 April 2014

If you are a beginner and looking for the best resources to learn mvc then go for it..you will love this book

Very nice book from Adam Freeman but very poor quality of the book by apress. Small font, very thin and poor quality paper showing printing of backside page, even color is around 50-70% gray. I am eager to read but making me frustrated whenever I open it. Not expected from Amazon to host it.

Nice book with real life examples

Thoroughly followed this book, end to end. Tried all the examples.I have knowledge on MVC - basics and then took this book.The explanation by the author is very clear and concise.Interesting read throughout the book.and yes, the Pro word makes a difference here. All his explanations target real time projects.Highly recommended book for Experienced and also beginners (with little more effort) candidates.I am keen in buying other books by the same author.

It doesn't cover anything on ASP.NET concepts .It just focuses on MVC ,so if you are looking for learning ASP.NET ,then this is not recommended at all

I have only read part of this book, but I already love it.Why do I love it? One major feature: Attention to the reader. At the beginning of each chapter is a summary of its contents in the format of "Problem"/"Solution", and there are many tables with "What is it?" and "Why should I care?"/Trivial as it seems, this is totally focusing!

Il libro è dedicato a un pubblico che abbia già delle conoscenze di aspn.net MVC. Il libro permette di capire cose che potrebbero non essere necessarie per sviluppare applicazioni web a basso livello ma necessarie per fare un salto di qualità. Fornisce conoscenze sulla piattaforma e servizi di asp.net web service (usate da asp.net MVC) fondamentali per programmare con asp.net MVC senza dover imparare a usare asp.net web service.Secondo me utilissimo per prepararsi alla certificazione Micorsoft 70-486: Developing ASP.NET MVC Web Applications. Per affrontare questo libro serve aver lavorato con MVC o aver studiato il libro Pro ASP.NET MVC 5 sempre dello stesso autore. Con l'uscita di Pro ASP.NET MVC 6 Client con questi tre libri si avrà una panoramica a 360° su asp.net MVC

Der Schreibstil von Adam Freeman ist hervorragend geeignet, um das Buch in einem Rutsch durchzuarbeiten. Man muss die Codebeispiele nicht zwangsläufig durcharbeiten. Die hervorgehobenen Stellen weisen auf die Weiterentwicklung hin und prägen sich auch so ein. Zwar verweist der Autor, wie schon in anderen Büchern, ab und zu auf seine weiteren Bücher. Aber das ist auch gut so. Denn so schafft er es, die Kernpunkte der Technologie zu vermitteln und andere Schwerpunkte, wie die client-seitige Entwicklung, noch einmal intensiver getrennt zu behandeln.
