MOTUL..THE GOD OF DTSI ENGINE
I haven't tried motul before on my pulsar 150 dtsi.I tried different Brands following the recommend grade 20w40. Bajaj engine oil was a bad experience for me during the warranty period. It tend to lost life after 2000 odd kms and made my bike so sluggish .10000 kms as mentioned is a joke. So after Reading some automobile blogs I realized motul is the final solution for pulsar range..It really work wonder for dtsi engine. Engine vibration reduced upto a remarkable extents, literally almost nil .Engine braking enhance, cant say anything about the mileage coz I am tankfull to tankfull guy,top end reduced to 112 kmph but feeling the mid range getting more stronger and smoother between 4000-6000 range, false neutral numbers getting less still I need to put heroic effort to shift my transmission into ideal mood. Shifting of gears much smoother than before though our own pulsar brothers are well aware of the legendary transmission unit(on sarcastic note) and we are live up with it.Final conclusion,Overall motul is GOD for dtsi Engine.. I am satisfied with the performance front.Go for it. It the best engine Engine oil I have ever experienced 50000 +odd kms ride on my old horse..

Best product for pulsar 150
The best synthetic oil for Bajaj Pulsar 150 Dts- i ABS TD BS6 2023 model . Before using this i have used motul 7100 20w50. Which was soo good for street riding and heavy-mid day bike usage around 50kms every day. 7100 was too thick and becomes heavy in winter conditions for 150. Just given try to 15w50 and trust me it feels like more pickup and acceleration than 20w50. No gear -engine noise. Feels smooth ride. Go for it than 20w50. Mileage of 58kms achieved. I have used after 3M engine flush for old 7100.(Avg speed is 40-60, rev up to 90-100 very few times)Used Bajaj OEM oil 20w50 only twice but after using motul 1st time kept using motul only due to lower engine noise and smooth gear shift even after 3000kms 7100 use.

Good product
Such a good product. Ive used this oil for around 2.5k kms on my classic 350 and giving a genuine review that, this is a good engine oil and better when compared to OEM.Pros:1. Heat reduction.Cons:1. Over priced.2. Not a big upgrade from OEM engine oil.So if you have high budget, you can definitely go to this engine oil. Or else, for daily commuting, Liquid gun is the best oil.

For fz users
Iam using a 2012 model fz16I visited some websites for knowing which is the best oil grade for fz and I found this grade(15w50) as the most recommended, but my case is not the same. I found this oil to be an average option for my bike. I did about 500km after oil change and the bike seems to have the same behaviour as before when I used the 20w40 oil grade.

Cured slipping clutch, "snick" is back
As advertised, Motul 5100 Ester Blend 15W-50 (semi-synthetic) appears to be optimized for a shared-sump motor. I immediately noticed a quieter valve train with my Pulsar air/oil-cooled motor. I have recently experienced clutch chatter during high operating temperature in slow speed maneuvering and clutch slip at takeoff prior to reaching full operating temperature. That has seemingly disappeared. Gear changes are now accompanied by a "snick" rather than what had developed into a soft "clunk". As the miles have piled on, the transmission, although exceptionally smooth compared to many other modern machines, became slightly reluctant to shift smoothly. That has also now seemingly vanished. This particular machine calls for Semi-synth or full synth, shared-sump oil in either 10w-40 or 15w-50 weights. The "winter" weight of the oil is a non-issue, so I have taken liberty in the past with this. The previous fill was with Bajaj Dts-i 10000, an oil that I have used for years with little complaint. If anything, my previous fills with Bajaj Dts-i 10000 have felt like they are shearing down before 3-4000 kms, well before the recommended 6000 kms interval. In this machine, a previous Apache, and other machines, I have filled with Motul, Bajaj, Castrol, plus some others I fail to recall. All of them are fine oils for the application. At some point, the Castrol products seemed to shear down around 2-2500 kms. The Bajaj products never gave me an issue other than 1) locating some and b) paying the asking price.Motul 5100 is priced more competitively than all but the Castrol Actevo. However, Motul 5100's ester synthetic base and additive package is available at a price point that the competition doesn't offer. For the quantity, this oil is quite a bargain.Although not readily available at an auto parts store like Mobil, Castrol or Valvoline motorcycle oils, telegraphing an oil change and having oil shipped is a minor inconvenience in the context of the benefits of Motul. Frankly, I've avoided Motul for this reason, as well as the fact that they market so hard for independent shops to carry the product line. Motul products seemed cheap for this reason, despite being able to buy at cost. However, customer comments on how much better the motor "feels", even with Motul's standard mineral product, should have clued me on. I guess I was ignoring how much harder the huge companies market their motorcycle products to chain stores. So much for standing on principle...Whether Motul 5100 shears down quickly in this bike remains a to be seen. I'll add to this review when I know more.Hope this helps you make a good decision.
