Power Functions Buggy Motor 5292(2 PCS) Compatible with Lego Motor MOC Technic Parts

These are my first buggy style motors, so I haven’t got anything to compare with, but they are very fast.

This set of PF buggy motors work as expected. Simple to connect and use with snapping into your project. The motors work well enough as an alternative and are easy to get.

One didn't work immediately, other died within a week. Kid was VERY disappointed.

These have a much greater RPM and plenty of torque to drive my 1/10th scale Lego technic car. They have enough torque to move the large car and move it much faster than the regular Lego XL motor.These are compatible with the older power functions with the IR controller or many after market controllers. Just make sure your power pack and controller use the 2x2 plate shape connector.

The first time I bought it, they sent a set of train motors instead. I was just thinking of also buying train motors too, so I kept them and re-purchased the item. The motors worked okay compared to the price, but one had the commutator break (one contact is probably dead but it's not a serviceable motor) causing it to only run if you manually spin it first. It also gets hotter than the other identical motor setup on the other axle of the vehicle. So I ordered a replacement set and ..... train motors again! I had to return it since I now don't need more train motors, and hopefully they'll send the right motors next time.

Several of my children have been super into Lego and competitive Lego robotics but my current high school senior really takes it to another level. I got him these to play with because you can never have too many motors.These motors are very powerful and very fast. As others have noted, they pull a lot of power but I think that's understandable given the torque and speed involved.I look forward to seeing what he builds with these!

Great price. The fit is the same as the OEM. These motors are large and have a lot more torque. The power connection is tight stays together. With more power comes more battery use, but that's just the nature of the beast. I've been wanting to build a faster RC type lego car without spending a ton on parts. These generic motors definitely fit the bill.
