As a person who sleeps warm, I was excited to find these pillows. The set of two pillows arrived rolled up tightly in vacuum sealed plastic. They were easy to remove from the packaging and resumed their normal shape in about 30 minutes to an hour. The pillowcases as fastened with a zipper that works well. I am concerned about the quality of the zipper pull. It seems to be made of a light metal that may break over time. After zipping the zipper, the pillowcases fit snuggly around the pillow forms.Before using the pillowcases, you will want to wash the pillow cases. I washed them before use, because it is good practice and they had a strong smell. The strong smell disappeared after the first wash. The care label for the outer cover says - unzip the outer zipper, and remove the cover first; washable machine safe; do not dry clean; iron on low heat; make sure the cover is completely dry before use; note: do not wash the foam filling. The filling is made of 100% shredded polyurethane foam.These pillows have been wonderful to use. The fabric on each side of the pillowcase is different. One is cool to the touch and the other is neither warm nor cold. The fabric is cool to the touch, I think because of the way the fabric was woven. You can always find a cool spot on the cold side and it returns to its cool state within seconds when you remove your head from the pillow. You would not necessarily want to use an additional pillowcase with this pillow, because it would mask the cooling technology.I sleep on my side or stomach and the pillow worked well for both of these. Overall, I am thrilled with these pillows and look forward to continuing to use them.

Memory foam and pillow generally equals a warm, sweaty head, but not so with these pillows. The covering seems to provide a nice layer of breathability while the memory foam does a good job of conforming to your lumpy head.

These pillows are pretty hard and that may be good for supporting your back while reading, etc. but too hard for sleeping and resting your head on them. I end up putting them beside the bed at night while sleeping.

This is a very large pillow full of shredded memory foam.I like this pillow because:-comes with removable (washable) cooling pillow case-filled with finely shredded materialOther memory foam pillows I own have chunks of memory foam which made the pillows feel uncomfortable and bumpy. This pillow is very nice because the foam is shredded into very small pieces and its barely noticeable.The only thing I didn't like is that the pillow is very dense. I would have much rather had the option to remove some of the filling because there is to much filling in the pillow and I require a softer pillow because of neck issues.Other than that if you like a thick dense pillow that is going to spring back to life every night? I think this is a good choice.I recommend for back, or side sleepers who enjoy a thicker pillow.

Theses pillows are filled with pieces of shredded memory foam. The outer cover has two sides. The white side is labeled "soft touch" and the blue+white side is labeled "cool touch". It has a zipper to enable removal of the cover for laundering. There is an inner compartment which contains the shredded foam pieces.Some other pillows are a large piece of memory foam. I like the shredded foam much better. I'm able to burrow and shift the pieces the way I want them for my support and comfort. The only thing that would make it better would be if the inner pouch containing the foam pieces had a zipper to allow removal some of the foam fill if needed for personal comfort.

Bought these because they were supposed to be cool to sleep on. They heat up as soon as you lay on them They very hard as well and you can’t remove any stuffing without ruining pillow The only reason I am not returning them is my husband likes them for sitting up to watch tv

The silky side is cool to the touch and the shredded foam provides good support without blocking the air flow or feeling lumpy. I didn't put a fabric pillow case on this pillow since that would eliminate the benefits of the silky coolness. If you're looking forward to the cool touch but you feel a pillow case is necessary, you should consider a satin or silk pillow case. As it is I found the color and pattern inoffensive so I didn't bother using a pillow case. The cover that's on it can be unzipped and thrown in the laundry. The inner foam pillow can not be washed. I'd like to give this pillow 5 stars but being a 100% back sleeper, I found it to be too thick. My head was being elevated in such a manner that it was uncomfortable on my neck. I'm considering opening the inner pillow and removing about 1/3 of the foam to make it more back sleeper friendly. I gave one of these pillows to my wife who sleeps on her side mostly and she had no such problem. She loves it. She would give this pillow 5-stars.
