I got this because I thought it might be a nice upgrade. But I had no idea how much I would enjoy having it. The remotes are great, too, and handy. Although, they don't come with batteries. They take an A23 battery (as stated on the inside of the remote battery compartment). Wish they were just rechargeable. One thing I just noticed, is that the plug will turn on after a power outage. This is not good, and I need to find a new solution for that.

Accessory plug only sometimes turns on when the tool turns on. Works fine in "ON" but then it's just a crappy expensive multi plug.

I liked this as it allowed me to power on my saw and my vacuum. Having them on the same device which works automatically with a delay option, was so much more convenient and a game changer in terms of ease of use. I no longer had to turn em on separately and it was easy to control from a distance with the remote. Worked as expected and was a pleasant surprise for my workshop.

This switch works. I have forgot to turn on my dust collector many time when running the plane. Now I don’t need to. When I turn on the plane, the vac starts and, when turned off, the vac runs for another few seconds. It also comes with 2 remotes which will be very useful on a plumbed dus collector with multiple tools. One day…

The media could not be loaded. As you can see in the attached video (the switch is out of sight below the bench), the switch has several seconds of delay between when the tool is activated and the vacuum outlet is triggered. It's handy that the vacuum continues for several seconds after the saw stops, to keep clearing the hose of dust, but the startup delay is pretty annoying. I routinely finish a cut (and generating dust) before the vacuum turns on.

I expected that I would plug this item into the wall and then plug in my tool as well as my Ridgid wet/dry vac that I have set up with a dust separator. I expected that when I turned my tool on, this device would then provide power to my vacuum so that the vacuum would turn on and begin sucking the dust from my tool.When I turned my tool on, the vacuum turned on and started sucking up dust.This item did exactly as it was supposed to do. It has been installed for nearly a month and has turned on as it was supposed to about 30 times so far without fail.

This switch seems to work exactly as described. As soon as I power on my tool, the vacuum automatically powers on. It's a really cool concept, and I probably needed this long ago.My only critique of the item, is it seems 14AWG is inadequate for it's other specs. For example, it claims it can handle 30-amps, however, you probably need 10AWG for 30-amps. The claimed specs are a bit suspect, however otherwise it does what it says it does.
