Great little briefcase
I needed a briefcase for a campaign I was working on. I also needed to be able to use my hands. This was perfect. It’s light, easy to carry, has lots of pockets and I could wear it over my head and shoulder, leaving my hands free, having it on one side of me for when I needed to get or file papers. The price was right.

Best file folder we've ever had!
My kids are VERY picky with their folders. Pretty much all the kids need them for the higher schools. We've had them rip by November and others that don't hold enough papers. and still others that aren't easy to handle. For middle schoolers or high schoolers that need a very durable expanding folder( the kids who are tough on them), this is the best one we have ever found! And the nice part is, it stays open. Some others kinda snap back when you try to browse the pockets and that is a real pain in the butt. I hated that and threw one out due to it. This one lasted the whole year for my daughter, even stayed clean and didn't rip. It's nice that it has the handle too, if she doesn't want to bring a back pack that day and it definitely holds a lot of papers!

Durable
After extensive search of amazon and many other websites and IRL stores, this is the only expanding file folder I could find without that same cheap plastic siding. Well, that's not entirely accurate. This one also has that same cheap plastic siding, but along the top it has a cloth hem. The type of plastic these things use is very easy to tear but, with the hem, if the rip can't start, it can grow. The elastic string on the front feels fairly weak and, while it hasn't snapped yet, I don't think it will work long term when the folder is packed. Easily fixable with some string if it does.Would be 4/5 if one of these existed with a more durable cloth or cardboard (or even just BETTER plastic) siding. Since it doesn't, I suppose the best folder in it's entire category can't really get anything less than the best rating.

Great for organizing school work
Bought this for my extremely unorganized 12 year old, for school papers and homework. Each tab being used for one class, he is easily able to organize. I normally get things back, crumbled in a ball, or shoved in a folder or backpack. Since using this (its been about 3 months), his organization has improved 80%! That's a huge difference for this kid!

Good for light duty
Pros:Very lightweight, yet sturdy outer case. Very slim. Shoulder strap is convenient. Has tabs and labels for the pockets. Pockets are not connected at the bottom inside, so there's freedom of movement and it helps with tapering.Cons:Pockets are plastic, but thin as paper, so don't expect sturdy dividers. Not capable of holding much due to slim design. Would have liked it to be a bit deeper to hold more.I got this to carry sheet music, and so far so good. I've heard others complain about the elastic strap used to close it breaking; I'd keep from overfilling it to help. As I put more stuff in it, I may cut out some pockets to give room. This is meant for light duty, ie. not filing all your household paperwork, or a year's worth of school papers.

perfect mobile fle case
I love this case. I have 3 of them for different community groups I work with. It has separate compartments for organization and you can just throw the meeting handouts in without hole punching or sliding into some kind of sleeve. The closure system is secure but fast, fast, fast to open. And it is plastic durable with a nice handle to tote it around like a briefcase. Easy to grab and throw into the the car and go. The different colors of the cases helps me keep the groups separate. I researched this tediously and really this is a great solution if you want mobile filing organization.

Very poor quality
I had one just like this for several years, I use it all the time, the elastic broke so I ordered a new one! Big mistake!! The first day the long handle broke I put it back together and carry it by the small handle! Then the button flew off and almost hit a client!! I wish I had kept my old one!! Very poor quality

Good in concept but not durable
I bought two of these, one for each of my kids for school. They have a hard time with organization, and they liked that they could have one place to divide their work between subjects. They loved that they were easy to open and close and that they had a handle and shoulder strap to carry them easily. However, they only lasted two months. Both files broke within a week of each other. The buttons in the front used to hold them together popped off both binders. I thought the first one was a fluke, but after the second one happened a week later, I wanted to write a review. These worked really well for the two months they used them, but unfortunately didn’t last as long as we think they should have. We really wish they had.

Awesome Value!
The best file case I've ever come across, and I use a lot of them. It also looks a lot better than the cheap alternatives.
