EthiquePink In-Shower Container for Shampoo and Conditioner Bars (Pack of 1)

The soapdish should fit all Ethique soap, not just SOME!
When I first bought this soap dish it was intended for my Ethique bodywash bars, but they were too big and the soap dish is made for the facial wash bars - it's other bars. Which is unfortunate and so I pivoted and went with the idea of using the exfoliating gingersnap facial bars in the dish. Works perfectly! So the purchase wasn't a waste after all, but on a sidenote bodybars that ACTually fit would be best!

No more plastic bottles + softer hair!
The picture I’m uploading was a day or two after ditching bottled shampoo and conditioner. It’s been a month+ and I love these products. I don’t see myself going back to bottled. Not only is it better because there is basically no one use plastic but my hair feels softer. My old shampoo left my hair dry and stiff. I had to use leave in conditioner to get it softer. I don’t need to anymore! I’m ordering my second shampoo bar today but my conditioner bar still has a long way to go before it runs out. I’m really happy with this switch but highly recommend!

Made to only fit Ethique
Very sturdy. Is an open grate on the bottom. Would only work for travel if placed in a sealed plastic container. Made to fit the specific size of Ethique shampoo only. Can put other items in container if leave lid off.

Functional and cute
Seems durable and holds my shampoo and conditioner bar without issue. It seems to be really helping to keep the bars from dissolving faster, since it completely encases them and has a way for water to drain through the base. The color is spot on (a gorgeous shade of pink), and the holder is pretty heavy. I don't know how well it's suited for travel as it doesn't lock or anything, but since we don't travel often I'm not too worried about it (the top basically just sits loose on the base). It's honestly better than I was expecting and I'm very pleased.

Kind of fragile, still like it
Something that lives in the shower is bound to take a tumble or two. Mine chipped off the edge both times (so far) it’s hit the deck. Still works so whatever, but be careful.I love it for travel - just put a hair tie around it and no security worries or having to use nasty hotel shampoo.Daily use it doesn’t let the shampoo dry out enough if it’s covered in the shower, so try to find a place you can leave it open the dry out.

Save the planet one step at a time
I decided to do my part to reduce, re-use, recycle. I have ended my purchase of any product that normally comes in durable plastic bottles, such as shampoo and conditioner and dish soap and so on. So I have the cubes of shampoo and conditioner and then you have the question of how to keep it in your shower area. This container is the answer. I'm so glad I have it. I read that it is made of materials that will degrade over time, unlike plastic which will last and last practically forever. It feels quite substantial. It sits in my little shelf in the shower for soap and shampoo. If we all make an effort to reduce our damage to the environment, maybe we can leave a better world for our descendants.

Not practical - needs a redesign
I want to like this, but it’s totally impractical. I love that it’s 100% compostable, but that’s about the only plus I can give it. 1. It needs to be rectangular and long, not square and tall. The bars only fit into it in this shape standing up side by side, which only works before they’ve been used. If it were a long and flat rectangle the bars could lay flat on the broad side as they melt away. 2. It needs holes in the bottom instead of slits. As the bars melt away, they fall right through the bottom. 3. The lid needs to clip into place. It just sits on top, which makes it completely useless for traveling unless you’re going to rubber band it together. So, all in all, I have ended up keeping these shampoo and conditioner bars on a soap saver, which is also compostable and costs significantly less. Save your money on this one, friends.

Love it!
This container is very convenient to keep all my shower bars together and organized. At this point, I'm using 4 bars (1 shampoo bar, 1 conditioner bar, 1 body wash bar and 1 facial bar). Since they go dwindle in size at different intervals, it's easy to keep them in this container at the same time in a neat fashion. I like that this container will decompose in a short-ish time span as opposed to the plastic ones. Since it has open lines on the bottom, the soap bars get air so they don't melt away because of too much water. The pink is very nice too, not too bright. I'm happy with the darker shade of pink on this.

Fits at least 2 bars
This has a good design -- the base fits snugly in the lid while the bars are draining if you want to put them on a surface outside the shower cubicle (which I think helps the bars last longer as they dry out better) and the main thing is it fits at least 2 bars -- your shampoo and conditioner, which I didn't realize when I bought it. It's expensive but sustainably made.

Does what it says, holds soap bars
Good for storing shampoo soap bar. Eco friendly. Expensive for what it is. Well made and should last for years.
