Durable, light weight, and have quite a bit more interior volume than other bins that claim to be the same size (the 12 Gal size holds about 20% more than the "12 Gal" yellow and black bins from Home Depot). They're rectangular, so they're super efficient to stack and pack. And they stack really securely with or without the lid. They're surprisingly low-profile when collapsed, and easy to store in a car trunk or the corner of a closet.My only criticism is that the inset lid is a little flimsy, so you can't stack something heavy in the middle of it unless the bin is packed full. The easy solution to that is to just place another collapsed one on top, so not a big deal at all.Overall, I'd highly recommend!

I had to do an exchange because they delivered the wrong order but now that I got the actual one it is actually neat, strong enough to hold your storage and keep things organized but what sucked was one of them has a bad crack on the edge of the lid because of the shipping but all in all this is cleverly made

First, this is a great product - We bought three of them to use with our RV to move items in and out between trips. They collapse easily and stack perfectly out of the way when not in use. I use one when we travel by car to carry loose items in/out of hotel rooms. And the lid is a nice touch! They expand and collapse easily and securely. That said, I do not believe that the crates are sturdy enough to handle the stated 100-pound load. One of them broke while carrying it with just a single, full layer of cans and plastic drinks to the RV. While heavy, it wasn't more than a 30 # load. I believe that the crate being bounced off the tops of one's legs while walking simply stressed the top and cracked it. I still rely on the remaining pair and highly recommend them. They are working extremely well with lighter loads and with a bit more care not to jostle them around when full.

Three 46L CleverMade crates fit perfectly in a Honda Odyssey trunk. It's like they designed it for them. Everything works right although the lids are a little flimsy. I'm not worried about them too much, but I wouldn't want to rest something small and heavy on the lid without supporting it.

So far, just received my crates, and they seem pretty sturdy. I was concerned about "missing lids" in previous comments, and sure enough.....did not see any lids! HOWEVER.... you need to look under the bottom of the crate, it is fitted to it there, just pop it off. The lid itself is not very sturdy, so it really is kind of useless. I had to make sure something strong or padded was protecting the printer I wanted to tote using this. But the crate itself seems like it will last quite a long time.

So far so good! Just wanted something easy for my truck bed to put groceries and junk in. Fit perfect and used some bungee cords to secure.

I bought a CleverMade bin several years ago (from some membership store). GREAT product. Durable, portable...all good stuff. I use it all the time.This product...it's not the same. First of all, half the time I fold it up, the hinges detach from the base and it has to be reassembled (it seems fine when you are using it).Second, these things are actively trying to put you in the hospital! :) The "lid" stores on the bottom, but here's how it goes: You'll load the bin and start walking with it. In about 10 steps, the lid will fall off...right in your walking path. Because the texture is smooth, when you step on said lid, it will glide along most any surface, be it concrete, tile, carpet. Trust me, it's not a "wheee!" moment. :)Do yourself a favor and store the lids (maybe in the neighbors trash can?).This new storage line seems to be the "eco" line. The quality is not what it used to be. CleverMade bring back the original!

I bought a few of these and love that they come with the lid and that it secures to the unit when folded. They are sturdy and stack well on each other. My only recommendation would be that the dimensions of this particular unit and the older red/black version that I have several of (without lid) from the same company SHOULD be made to stack on top of each other dimensionally rather than being "close" but slightly different. Still... 5 star product.
