I just got this recorder and it has been so helpful for me while working and some prsonal projects I have going on. One of the most important thing is that the audio is super crisp, even in larger rooms or when people are speaking softly and you think it won't pick up the sound. I had to get the hang of using it but for the most part it’s really user-friendly, with simple controls and a clear digital display. I didn’t spend much time figuring it out but I also hadn't used an external recorder in years. I like how compact also so I can easily slip in my bag or even into my pocket. I highly recommend this little voice recorder. It is so easy to use, and the screen is great. The heft is good as is the smaller size. Everything you need comes in the box. It is rechargeable instead of using batteries. The first charge lasted a long time (longer than expected). The recording clarity is great during playback! The memory is plenty enough. I am a news reporter who needs a recorder for community meetings, city council meetings, as well as capturing voices through loud background noises. I am amazed at this unit's capabilities. It has a fast forward feature that works very well, but the recorder's one drawback is that its rewind feature is not good. In fact, if I want to rewind a recording a few seconds, it simply returns to the beginning of the recording, necessitating searching through the recording to return to the point I need for transcribing it. It is a time-consuming inconvenience, yes. But it's worth putting up with in exchange for the superb quality of its recording capabilities.
