Honda Jazz 2002 to 2008 (51 to 08 reg): Owners Workshop Manual

Although listed as used this arrived in as new condition. This was the hardback edition,brand new editions would be a softback which are inferior due to poorer reproduction of photographs of which there are many. I don't change my cars very often and the last Haynes manual I purchased was 14 years ago. What I did notice was the lack of line illustrations which were so much clearer than the black and white photographs. These manuals are still worth buying and even if you only feel capable of doing minor jobs on your car will pay for themselves many times over.

Essential item for every Jazz owner - saves potential £'s by avoiding expensive garage charges.Jazz is a straightforward car to undertake basic servicing - easily detailed in the Haynes manual. Also look on Youtube for very good detailed videos. Oil, oil filter, air filter and pollen filter change can be achieved at home for less than £50 - saving at least £100 on a garage service.When changing spark plugs need to have two short extension pieces (3-4") to be able to get at the rear 4 spark plugs - fit one extension bar to the spark plug socket and position it above the spark plug, lower into the chamber then fit the second extension piece and finally the ratchet bar to remove the plug. The front 4 plugs have easy access.

Like the previous reviewer commented, the quality leaves something to be desired. My copy came shrinkwrapped, but a number of pages have nasty wrinkles while another has a brownish mark full length down the paper. But where else is there to go? Haynes appear to have the market to themselves.Although I was an electro-mechanical service engineer for many years, I have had very little experience of working on cars, and I am a bit apprehensive that some of the tasks will not be quite as straightforward as this book makes them out to be.

On cheap paper which Haynes seems to think is O.K. but gives poor reproduction of photos which are often, otherwise, the most useful help. I cannot believe a better quality paper would add that much to the price & is a common ongoing critisism of Haynes manuals.

Much prefer old style, but ok I guess.

Haynes are legendary for their clarity but I found the inside rather dated looking - some better quality photos would help.Also I was expecting to find 'how to's' for the more common ailments of the Jazz, especially the leaking door seals.I'm hoping the brevity of the book is because the car is so reliable!

Arrived quickly and well-packaged. Typical Haynes Manual (I have had various cars over the last 35 years and have bought Haynes manuals for them )-well laid out,good photos and some useful "tip" boxes and alternative methods (e.g."you will need special tool XYZ123 but you can get away with a bent spoon and an elastic band". Seriously, a very useful book.

The manual is in excellent as new condition.
