It's a moment when you buy a necessary and good thing very inexpensively. And then you realize that this sofa is much better than expected. The quality of the material, the size, easy assembly, free delivery. If everyone made such good and comfortable furniture, people would live better.

This futon sofa is JUST AS ADVERTISED. I personally am very happy with the purchase. However I did have a scare when I initially received the package. They put some of the pieces inside other pieces. I thought they were missing and started panicking, wondering how I was going to get my money back. It did state that the armrest were stored in the bottom of the seats on the directions, so that was my mistake.Also, I read some reviews that said this sofa isn't stable, and screws rattle, and some have had to buy parts/bolts. I didn't encounter any of those issues once I was putting it together correctly. Some of the pieces are labeled right side and left side, so I can't remember now cause I put it together weeks ago. But it s either your right or the actual right side. I had to flip things around and then it went together properly!. Anyway, I hope this helps someone! Go for it. It is firm but personally I like that because it won't loose shape, etc. Also, another review said when the converted it to a bed, the couch was imbalanced and flipped over. Clearly they didn't unzip the back and flip the legs out! It's very comfortable when converted to bed for me, like a daybed.

Nice addition to a guest apartment! The size was perfect. The installation was very user friendly. The quality was an excellent value for the money spent. Quality in a Assemble yourself item! All tools were included in the package. Although, the package was heavy and delivered with massive whole (resulted in a few missing bolts), easily remedied by a visit to local HDW store, I LOVE THIS 'hide-away) bed! (use a nice tufted mattress cover) and WAALAA! comfortable guest bed!

Our son is a sophomore in college. He got his first apartment and moved out at the end of the summer, so we have started turning his room into an office/mancave/guest room. I bought this because my wife liked the way it looked and our son could sleep on it when he's here for things like the holidays. He was home for Christmas and complained about it being too hard. So I bought a 2.5" foam pad to help. He didn't really complain after that. Last week he went back to his apartment and another kid, who's a family friend, stayed with us for a couple of days. I set the bed up for him and let him know where he'd be sleeping. The next day I find him sleeping on the living room couch lol. I asked him why and he said it was like sleeping on a concrete park bench. I'll be donating this couch and trying to find a softer one.Oh, before I get to pro's and cons... I got it all put together and got sheets and blankets on it, my son laid down on it and as soon as he rolled over to the back side, the whole thing flipped and he was on the floor behind the couch with the couch partially on top of him. I built a support for it that worked fine, but involved some woodworking and not everyone knows how to do that, nor should anyone have to.Pros:Very easy to assemble. I was done in about an hour.Looks pretty good. Looks as expected.Easy to convert from couch to bed.Price.Cons:Hard as a rock and not comfortable to sleep on at all.Have to modify it if you want to sleep without suddenly ending up on the floor.Basically useless if you want to use it for anything other than a couch and even the couch is almost too hard to sit on for any length of time.Edit: Read others reviews and saw that there are actually legs behind the backrest concealed with a zippered flap. I did go look and they are there so my modifications were not necessary. The lesson here is read the instructions lol.

Beautiful and very sturdy sofa. Very easy to assemble. Material is very soft and luxurious. It is a very firm seat and bed, which makes it very easy to get up and out of it if you are older and have trouble rising out of soft chairs. It is very easy to fold the seat back down into a bed.

This product is very faulty. You can’t put it together because the bolts that hold the arms on are too short and the bolts to hold the center together had nothing to mount too. They had the holes, but nothing to screw the bolts into. (no hardware.) If you’ve ever put one of these together you know what I mean. Also, the screws of the legs were also too short which means they could not be mounted either. I went to hardware store and purchased bolts and nuts to join the center section before I found out the bolts for arms and legs were too short. The seller never got back to me. I will never purchase from the seller ever again and I suggest you do not either.

Bought this for my camper and overall I’m happy. It is very firm not as comfortable as I would have thought but for the price it’s ok. Assembly is difficult for one person I would recommend 2 people but it is possible to do it just took me longer. It folds easily and seems pretty sturdy! I’m 5’4 and can lay on it comfortably without putting the arm rests down.
