The the app seems to recognize fingerprints when adding to users but when the locks are installed and it actually comes to using biometrics to gain access to my house it only seems to recognize fingerprints 10% of the time. All scanned prints were entered in different configurations to give the app a good reference of the fingerprints but still poor recognition! Also the Bluetooth quality is poor it drops constantly so I can't even use the app to unlock the doors unless I'm right near the door, an by then what's the point I can manually unlock it. I purchased two fingerprint deadbolts, two fingerprint doorknobs, one approach lock with Bluetooth and a Gateway to allow the use of Alexa. I got the same results on each device, I could not get the Gateway to work with Alexa and tech support is non-existent! No responses to requests for help and printed instructions are poor at best with many spelling errors.Don't waste your time, the items are less expensive for a reason and it's not because they are quality products! This was a HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT!!! I returned them all!!!

I have a pretty common deadbolt that was bought two years ago. The screws are much thicker then what the smart lock allows. I was disappointed. I want to keep the hardware on the outside the same while having the convienence of a smart lock. I had to return the smart lock.

I tried and tried but no go. I contacted the MFG. for help and was told to replace the batteries, which I think will void the warranty because the batteries are internal.

I'll give this points for installation simplicity. I am not impressed by the interface or app whatsoever. The deadbolt will lock automatically after 30 seconds, there is no option to change this. You can not access the user manual from the app. It would be great if you could stop the manual mechanical unlocking function from the device itself. I wanted to use this on my patio wrought iron gate, but it can easily be turned by somebody from the outside. The only option in setting is to lock out all other users. That's it, that is the only setting in the menu. A proximity opening feature would be nice, a manual lock out would be nice, a autolock timer adjustment would be nice.

I bought this directly from the manufacturer website. I had considerable trouble with installation on my Kwickser deadbolt, a highly popular brand. I had to modify it to work, but it's working now. The app itself is horrendous. Instead of a simple, fast lock/unlock button or more preferably a non-existant widget, I have to sit through a timed advertisement for a product before I can let my wife in the door. Once I get to the unlock button, it sometimes, not always, takes two taps to activate it. I even bought the optional upgrade WiFi/Bluetooth plug so I could control it from my Google Home Assistant, but haven't been able to get that working at all. To top it all off, the app updated, a couple days ago and now it opens and immediately closes so I cannot even use it anymore. I literally have to go to the door and manually turn the lock to let my wife in now. So disappointed. I really hope the manufacturer reads this and addresses these issues.
