I got this to change the oil filter on my 2015 Honda Civic and it works great! Just make sure you measure the size of the diameter of the filter you have and make sure this fits your filter. This is some cast aluminum, and it seems to be good enough for my needs changing the oil on my car. Nothing special, and definitely not something I would use professionally but cheap and works for my needs.

I own one of these tools that was purchased from the dealer and that tool cost 6x more than this one. Both work equally well!The finishing on this tool could be a little better. There’s a couple of burrs here and there and there’s also no detent inside the square drive to hold the tool on ratchet. That doesn’t seem to be too big of a deal, and for the price I didn’t expect it to be absolutely perfect.The notches in the tool that slot into the filter housing for removal aren’t cut square but slightly rounded, which I feel could cause damage to the plastic filter housings, but my cars have the metal ones, so I can’t confirm if that would be a problem or not. I will say that it does fit on the end of the Toyota 90915-YZZF1 spin on filters which my 4cyl uses which is a plus, so with one tool I have been able to service both of my cars and my van.

This thing fits the filter on my Toyota's beautifully. Very well made and does the trick.
