Look for foot and head symbols on the instructions
Easy to put together. Fits the mattress perfectly. Looks great. Very sturdy. Paid $1000 for a similar base and this one I believe is better! Great price !

Poor instructions.
Whoever wrote the instructions for the bed does not speak "English" as a first language. Took me a little while to "decode" the instructions.
