This will turn your beard dark very quickly. Unless you have completely black hair I recommend washing it out in 5 min the first time. Last time I accidentally left it in over 10 minutes, and the results look a bit too dark for my hair color.One issue is if you use this infrequently it can clog. If you twist off the head you will see the two compartments. One for the clear gel, the other the pigment. On my prior bottle the pigment clogged. I couldn't clear it, had to dispose of the rest.Since you have to let this rest in your beard for at least 5min, we warned that any drips will permanently stain rugs and painted walls. Safest bet is to wait in the shower on a stool until you are ready to rinse it out.

Wanted to get rid of grey hairs and this shampoo did the trick. It was easy to use and the instructions are straight-forward. It has been two days and it is holding up well. Definitely a buy for me.

My husband was a bit nervous this experiment (his first with hair dye) would turn him into a black bearded pirate. He was able to follow the directions on his own, but he did comment that it was obvious English wasn’t their first language as the wording was awkward.He left it on between 5-10 minutes. Instead of black, the bright white hair came out a more muted silvery taupe that blended with the black in a very natural way. It really did improve the look of the beard overall as it was a more heathered look than the stark Cruella D’ville look he sported before the experiment. I wanted him to dye it again and leave it on longer, but he was happy with the subtle, blending results and chose to keep it that way.For reference, he is Korean, so a true black hair originally.I think he would be willing to give it another go soon. Thankfully, it didn’t dye the skin, or burn or anything awful like that, and the smell was natural and pleasant.Good luck getting full coverage with this, but if a more subtle blending is your goal, it’s the perfect product.
