I own the Torras stand case for the iPhone 13 and love it, so I jumped at the opportunity to test out the new upgraded version for the iPhone 16. Much like the case for my existing phone, the Torras stand case for the iPhone 16 has a slick, smooth surface that feels great in the hand. It is not slippery, has no ridges, and doesn't fall out of your hand. I have droped my phone however, and the case has held up phenomenally and protected my phone. There is extra protection around the camera lenses, which is an added feature that is not on my existing case. The extra protection does pop out slightly on the case, which is the same as on the case that I have for my phone, and is not a big deal at all. The magnet feels strong. I tested it by putting it up on a magnetic white board, which is in one of the pictures. It stayed securely, but there was no weight from any phone so I do not know how well it would stay up there with a phone in there. Doing the same test with my existing case and phone, it stuck, but would slowly slide down. I'm assuming that people aren't using this case to stick to magnetic white boards so it is probably not a good test and would work great on chargers and other magnetic accessories. My favorite upgrade to the case though is the stand part itself. I've seen cases where the magnet part pops out and that is used as the stand. Torres stand out to me because the stands are not part of the magnet section of the case. On the case for the iPhone 13, the stand pops out and you can use the stand in various positions, but limited on the angles that you can use. On this case in contrast, the stand rotates 360 degrees, and stays in place in any position that you put it in, horizontal or vertical, and at different angles. There are notches that the stand rotates into to keep it in those various positions. The metal hinge of the stand feels really sturdy and I'm certain that it will hold up with use over time, very much like my existing case. I have been extremely happy with my case for the iPhone 13, and when I upgrade to the 16, this will be my go-to case. Torras' products are top notch, and the company is responsive, friendly and helpful.

This is my 2nd Torras case. Never disappoints!!!. I got 2 more for family members. I had my 1st case for a 1yr & 3 months & dropped my phone a thousand times & my phone was perfect. Traded it in for an upgrade & had to get a new case.

PROS: This case is FABULOUS. I was concerned about how sturdy the rotating kickstand is - but lemme tell you. This the ink is DURABLE. I don’t have concerns about how long it would hold up and would be less prone to warping like the round style kickstand that TORRAS makes.The buttons have a nice tactile feel that’s really premium. And the magnet is strong and just as good as the ESR, etc. the MagSafe doesn’t impede charging and holds onto my Popsocket really well.CONS: I personally like to keep my ID between my phone and my case. This case fits so flush with the camera lens that it’s hard for me to easily pop the case off and on. Additionally, I wanted to be able to put camera lens protectors on my camera. This case already wraps tightly around the edges, so it’s not possible to use both.The lip of the case is also sliiiiiightly more narrow than the Flickstand case made by ESR.CONCLUSION/TLDR: I ADORE this case. However, I ended up choosing the ESR flickstand. I wanted to be able to take the case off more frequently as well as put a camera lens protectors, and this case is so snugly/securely fitted that it is a challenge. I really like how nicely the stand rotates, but my POPsocket is able to hold my phone up horizontally - IF YOU DONT NEED TO TAKE THE CASE ON/OFF EASILY and you need a kickstand that can hold horizontally/vertically - this case is PERFECT.

Your standard case, the 360° kick stand works well, magnetic ring is good, tight rubber seal around the phone, and the lens protectors are great to have. Recommended. 4 stars because there isn’t anything really above and beyond about this one.
