Quantum Physics for Beginners: From Wave Theory to Quantum Computing. Understanding How Everything Works by a Simplified Explanation of Quantum Physics and Mechanics Principles

Great resource to start your journey in understanding quantum physics
This is a fantastic introduction into the world of quantum physics. I had started reading a different novel related to the topic and it failed to adequately explain even the most basic of concepts. I was hoping to find a resource that gave a general overview of the main concepts of quantum physics without overwhelming verbiage or reliance on mathematical concepts. Quantum Physics for Beginners is a brief but satisfactory starting point to understanding how the study of quantum physics originated and the necessary context to understand the most notable theories that can then be further explored. It is not completely comprehensive and I did on several occasions refer to additional resources online to further my understanding, but I believe that is exactly what this book is intended to function as. Of course, especially with this subject matter, I don't know what I don't know, but I feel as though this is a great place to start your journey into understanding the quantum world.

Introduction to a fascinating topic
Knowing nothing about quantum physics, even this beginner's book was a challenge for me. There were some explanations that fell short for me, but overall the book was helpful in gaining knowledge about this complex, fascinating subject.

Made easy to understand
The author has a way of helping you picture in your mind what he is explaining. The strict technical explanation is there, but he gives the reader the best image of what he's trying to convey. This book gave me a deeper understanding of physics I felt I already knew. Excellent read!

Well Written Up To A Point
The first 30-40% of the book is well written & gives you a historical perspective. However, after that the author falls into a swamp of calculus formulas that made my eyes gloss over. This swamp gets worse as he introduces terms that he defines by themselves. If you are an absolute beginner with very little advanced math or physics education, you will not be satisfied & you will probably not retain what you have read.

Excellent book! Definitely read this gem!
This is a fantastic little book! If you have ever been curious about quantum physics, want a solid introduction to a more formal course of study or want a great supplement to your ongoing studies, this is the book to read. Please note that this is NOT a formal textbook with derivations or higher level mathematics. However, don’t underestimate its value! One of the practical and unique qualities of this book is that you do not need to have mastery of elevated mathematics or advanced physics. As a result, you will obtain a very thorough and graspable understanding of the concepts fundamental to understanding quantum physics. This book does include important quantum physics relationships as well. These can serve as a springboard to more advanced study or derivation of such relationships. It has been my opinion as an instructor, that a solid understanding of fundamental principles must accompany any mathematical or physics relationship/equation. This book delivers this understanding in an effective, concise and easy to understand manner. Whether you are a student, professional or a physics enthusiast, you will find true value in this little book! I highly recommend this book!Last, I want to clarify that I did not receive any compensation for this review. This book was not a complimentary copy and was purchased by me for personal study. I am a faculty member at a university and teach undergraduate electricity and magnetism. Thank you for reading my review!
