I bought this as a Christmas present, so by the time I got around to installing it the return window was past or I would have sent it back. The instructions were non existent as was there 24/7 phone support. I couldn’t even get an email from them, much less a phone call.Upon powering it up I got nothing, turns out the power wire was not really seated in the wiring plug. I have it installed now and only 1 speaker is working, hopefully it just more bad wiring in the plugin. The android operating system is so slow it’s ridiculous. I lost the use of my Siruus radio and the dvd player, At this point I’m going to give it a month or so, but I might well go back to my original stereo and just use my phone for maps. This has been disappointing and frustrating.

Great unit .. Plug and play.. Would like more memory, but great unit with easy install videos available on YouTube

We typically don’t recommend or install off-brand audio units, but our customer really wanted this one for their Mini, so we decided to give it a try. I have to say, I was pretty impressed with how well it turned out! The installation was straightforward for the most part, though it did take a bit of time to get everything in place and assembled. Once we got everything set up, it worked as expected, and the customer was thrilled with the result.The sound quality is solid, and the unit fits well into the Mini. Hello here is my experience.Install:Took me 11hrs to install the head unit and rear camera. Instructions are a bit contradictory. On one page it says the rear wire is brown and on another it is pink. It is pink (there is only one pink on the black tipped power so you can’t miss it. Hook the red wire that dangles off the video cable (yellow) to it. This is for when you reverse the radio doesn’t stop playing. That prob took me 5hrs to figure out after endless videos on YouTube and I finally saw that they circled the pin location on the instructions. Another issue that prob cost me the rest of the time was the rear camera is fine when the engine is off but once you turn the engine on it flickers. This drove me nuts. I searched everywhere and all my connections were correct. Finally gave up and looked on YouTube. You need a Back up camera rectifier which is only $5 so don’t know why they didn’t include it. And finally the way I routed it to the rear they didn’t give me enough power ground wire thankfully I had some. Oh I had to cut into my trunk to route the wire through. You could prob figure out a way not to do it but it is hidden and looks good, maybe have a drill or a Dremel. Good luck installing.Performance:The head unit so far is great for radio, Spotify, texts, wireless CarPlay, looks beautiful in the car mainly why you’re buying it. The downside is the screen resolution and the download via hotspot is ridiculously slow. I tried to install YouTube and play some cartoons for my son, I just gave up. So slow. It needs a faster processor, maybe the next gen?My verdict, install was a confusing pita where I needed more than what the product supplied me to fully install. What made things more difficult was the conflicting information in the instructions to where I found myself constantly going elsewhere for solutions. The screen looks amazing but the resolution isn’t 4k oled amazing. More like 720 HD barely. If music and CarPlay is all you do you won’t notice that much. This is a good head unit for the price. To be honest I bought this on Amazon hoping it won’t die in a year like the last one I got from China did.P.S. the volume button is the white floaty dot thing on the screen.

Speed is in kilometers. Bluetooth Connection is scratchy. Sound like a CD the you found under your seat. The install was a bear so I’m just going to have to deal with it. I would not recommend this unit unless we join the metric system.
