Geesh, how is something this good so cheap?
Bright, low-refraction lighting, easy to use controls, for the most part all around great.A few things, though:One quirk I see is that it aims down more than out, so even with it well-elevated over a nano aquarium there's a lot more dark spots in the corners than with the previous LED light I was using. Conversely, the parts it shines directly on (ie, straight down from it) are much brighter and clearer than before. Might be better to use two of these (with the brightness turned down a bit if necessary) if you're wanting a more thorough coverage. If you're wanting to spotlight the front of the aquarium, however, it's ideal.Another quirk is that the 24/7 setting doesn't allow clock setting to the minute. Which is fine, don't really need it that precise, but it might make it a bit awkward to coordinate multiple lights to smoothly turn on together if someone does decide to get multiple.A bigger issue is that the suction cups just won't hold. They did fine on my initial dry tests, but they just won't stay on the roof or walls of the damp/wet aquarium environment for more than a few moments before coming off. So other than being able to use them to stabilize the light if you're placing it on a transparent cover, I don't see any real use for them. Definitely look into a mounting alternative if you were planning on relying on the suction cups to hold the light.Other than that, nothing else that comes to mind to negatively point out. Rather, the rest is all much better than I expected, especially for the price. Definitely going to be my go-to brand from now on. <3

24/7 mode not the same
I like that this newer model has 5 rows of led instead of 3. I also like that you can program when the 24/7 mode starts and stops, but it seems the 24/7 mode doesn't work as well on this newer model compared to the old model. the color gradient is not the same at all. I bought this to replace my older model with the rows of 3, but given that the 24/7 mode actual color gradient is different and isn't matching with my other tanks, I'll be adding my old model back and using this as secondary light on 50% or less brightness.

So far so good nice light.
Third light by this manufacturer and they all have worked right out of the box and never failed. The suction cups work good and the new controller is nice.

Love it
Love everything about this so far! Best light I've ever purchased so far. It's very sleek and has very thick lining over the lights. It's lightweight yet built sturdy and durable. I thought it was going to ve hard to use but it was very easy to set the timer on every setting. The colors are Amazing!

It’s okay.. has a cool white tone
This light is okay. It has an easy to use timer/24hr cycle and fits the product description. However, I personally do not like this color of cool white light because it washes out the color in the tank. This light is not very bright, a better option is the Hygger brand.

The best light for our aquarium
I love the different color and brightness options. It fit perfectly in our 3 gallon tank and I used command strips to attach it to the lid instead of the suction cups.

just as described
We have four tanks, so it's always a good idea to have extra necessities on hand in case something stops working. When does something stop working? Inevitably on a Sunday night and all the stores are closed. So I keep a stash.

✅ SOLID, BRIGHT, AND BEAUTIFUL— ANOTHER WIN FOR THIS BRAND!
After mounting my freshwater Kessel lights I realized that I no longer had any "moon" lights, or lights for night time. While these are exactly necessary for any tank, they're still nice to have and it's kind of cool looking into your tank at night and being able to see the fish swimming around, and how everything would look as if it were in the wild during the nighttime hours. I needed a submersible light that would be able to illuminate the entire tank (75 gallons), and be adjustable to where it wouldn't disturb me sleeping, since the tank is in my room. I tried other lights like small "pond lights" and even though they're good and created a "spot light" effect, there was no way to mount them and I had to manually turn them off and on.✅ PRESENTATION AND PACKAGING: I've seen this brand come such a long way and remember when their packaging was so plain with no colors! LOL. Now they're literally professionals and have high quality stuff! I love it, and the colors, the inside foam molding to the product, everything looks very classy, expensive, and just screams high quality.✅ QUALITY: Just as the packaging suggests, the light itself is awesome. Its extremely lightweight, so you can tell there's nothing extra and unnecessary inside the light. The front acrylic is crystal clear and the entire piece is nicely sealed. I like to be able to shake the light and not hear anything loose and rattling inside. LOL. It's the very basics of LED diodes inside of a sealed and solid bar. The length is exactly as described and the light would be considered low profile. It comes with three brackets that attach firmly to the light bar, as well as suction cups that are great quality— not those clear, rubbery ones that get hard after awhile and turn white, these are big, have a nice deep cup, and are texture. They're much different than the cheap kind, so as long as your glass is clean, there's no question that they will stick and stay (no sliding either).✅ EXTERNAL CONTROL BOX: The control box is in-line with the light so there's no extra cords, and it's small enough to be discreet, but still has all the features and functions of a full size aquarium light. It might be a little confusing to operate and to be able to set the timer on it, but just read the manual and it's really easy to understand. The icons and the way the control box is set up, has everything labeled and also has indicator lights so you know what's running and what's not.✅ BRIGHT!: Even though the light is slim and low profile, this thing packs some brightness! I chose to mount it against the back glass of my tank, all the way at the bottom; basically down against the substrate to keep it concealed during the way when it's not on, and at night when it's lit up and no other lights are on, it creates the most beautiful silhouettes of the pants and fish as they move around the tank. You can adjust the brightness in several stages, as well as multiple different colors, but I keep it on the deepest blue and at 100% brightness and it's just gorgeous!✅ POTENTIALLY BENEFICIAL FOR PLANTED TANKS: I also noted that when the white light is on, it's full spectrum! This lighting is awesome for planted tanks, and this could potentially assist in those tanks that are DEEP and have issues with stem plants that loose their foliage around the bottom of the stem from being over crowded and only have foliage up top closer to the main light! Perhaps that's a gatekept secret of those that are competitive in the aquascaping hobby, but after mounting this light towards the bottom of my tank and having the full spectrum lit, which illuminates the bottom halves of all of my stem plants, I've noticed a visible difference in their growth and appearance! Just a little something noteworthy.💢 OVERALL: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ FIVE STARS———————————————————————————————————♡I really wish it were possible to give this item more than five stars, because I feel that it deserves it. Once again, this brand has been typically unknown in the competition as compared to multiple other, popular brands (i.e. Fluval, Seachem, etc.), but I've noticed that this company has very quickly caught up to the competition! I've purchased and have been running multiple pieces of equipment from this brand for freshwater, as well as saltwater and I have yet to really encounter a major issue with any item. This light is just another high quality piece to add to my huge collection, and I couldn't be more pleased with it's function and overall operation. I'm sure you could likely use this light for a wide variety of purposes, as with it being fully submersible, the possibilities are somewhat endless here, along with the various sizes that it is available in. I very highly recommend this light if you're wanting something that's budget friendly, but still needing to be able to fully light your tank. It's wonderful ♡
