Ok, y'all. I was looking for an easier method for my MIL to access our home when we aren't there. Sure, we have a spare key, but wanted alternative methods for entry for our family members. This smart lock has been fantastic for our family, and it is so easy to get started!Not only was it easy to install (even for those who aren't very savvy with tools can do this), but we are in LOVE with the look and the versatility of the whole lock. Not only does it have a manual key option, but allows us to lock/unlock remotely (via the app), use a personalized key code of our choice, or use one of the 3 provided RF key fobs for immediate access. If you didn't think that was fancy enough, there's also a fingerprint option that works really well when you're in a hurry! SCORE! You can program multiple users into the lock (via the app), so each entry can alert you as to who entered (mainly for the fingerprint and RF cards).The internal and external lock looks great and modern, and once installed just needs 4 AA batteries to get it powered up and working. While we haven't run into any "low battery" alerts yet, the app and manual key options are still available for entry until you can swap out the batteries.Overall, HIGHLY recommend this lock! We plan on getting a secondary one for our back door, as well.

It offers five ways to unlock — fingerprint, code, key fob, smartphone app (if you get the gateway), and a standard key. The fingerprint sensor is a cool feature, but sometimes inconsistent (if my finger is dirty or sweaty, which it often is after working outside.Installation was easy; I had it done in about 20 minutes with just a screwdriver. It fits my door perfectly, and I didn’t have to worry about which way it swings since it’s built for both left- and right-handed doors.I haven’t connected it to the app, so I can’t speak to the remote features, but as a standalone lock, it’s been reliable and convenient. I’m knocking off one star because the keypad and fingerprint sensor can occasionally be a bit slow to respond, but nothing too frustrating.Overall, this lock does what it promises and makes life easier. I am a single female in my 50's, and I hate fumbling with keys in the dark (or when the weather is bad) to get into my house. This electronic door lock has been life changing. It can still work with a key if needed, so you don't have to worry about malfunctions. It also works with a numerical code, or a fingerprint, or (my favorite) the fob. It's just like the fob that one uses to open the car-simply press the button and the door unlocks. This is great in the dark, when carrying groceries, on blazing hot days, or when it's raining. No more fumbling-everything is simplified. It was easy to install (my son did it for me) and has made my life so much easier. The door lever looks elegant, and I am very pleased. I highly recommend this smart door lock.

I have been wanting to update my front door, as the gold-toned knob and lock are 15 years old and looked rough. This is a great replacement, and the sleek look is wonderful. I like that there are several options to unlock the door, as I have a kiddo who forgets their keys often. It also gives me a way to let emergency staff in if the worst should happen. I highly recommend this.

You might need a cordless or power drill if your door doesn't already have a lower attached handle. No fear, they include a drill bit as well just in case you need to make a hole in the door. I needed to. That's about all there is to do, the rest is in the instructions and it's pretty easy.I was able get the door connected to the ap right away, and program codes and fingerprints. Overall really use and nice to install, and use.

An extremely solid and fairly attractive looking lock. The actual smart lock portion could have been a bit more stylish IMO considering the handle portion is. Many unlocking options. Easy to setup and the fingerprint reader works virtually every time. Couldn't be much happier.

I am that person that will run out of the house and lock the door only to realize that I had left my keys inside. So I ordered this fingerprint smart lock and I no longer lock myself out of the house. It will recognize fingerprint, the key fob, a code, a key or an app downloaded to the phone. My favorite option is the fingerprint but I also have used the code. I am truly loving this door lock. I should have bought it sooner.
